Don't bother trying to convince her of anything. Just make sure that she is totally clear where you stand, which should be: The choice is hers, but there's no fricking "break". If she wants to fool around, then you guys are over. There's no "saving a seat". The last thing you want to do is be clingy at this point. But by all means, 1) Don't bother confronting the guy...even if he is a total tool, whatever you do won't help the situation. There will always be another guy ready to swoop in; the only way to solve the problem is to have her be totally sure that you are the one. 2) It sounds counterintuitive since you're getting advice on a forum, but be yourself. When you interact with her you want to basically be as clear as possible about your feelings. Once you are sure she's gotten the message, give her space and let her figure it out. After two years, she should know enough about who you are. | ||

Some might remember my post a month or so back, where I said that my gf had been cheating on me and so on. All the advice I can give you is that if you truly love her, and really think you guys can work things out, you should go for it, and try to talk to her. If things fall apart, and she leaves you for good, you will be in a veeery bad shape, or atleast I was. But I can also tell you that it WILL pass, I know it doesnt feel like it in the beginning, but time heal all wounds as they say, and it's true. Now some two months ago after finding out that my gf was cheating on me, my life is beginning to come back to normal, so just keep in mind, if things turn out for the worse, they will eventually be good again. Got nothing else to say, hope this gives you some comfort in your agony. Good luck. | ||
