The word I heard the most in this video was family. Obviously there was alot of swearing and people in general being fucked up but that was the point, letting go of your normal life and just relaxing and having fun. Getting away from everyday life. Even though alot of people were high on something or wasted they all seemed to have a good time and just accepting everyone for who they are. You cant say that about alot of places, not even tl. So get off your high horse and check yourself and no this event wasnt celebrating being dumb, it was celebrating having something in common which brought people together from all walks of life and enojying each others company. and regarding the "woop woop"(I think it's woop) it's something you say that bears meaning to them, something about being an ICP fan or whatever. Like shouting out you favorite teams name or whatever when youre at a game. Nothing more nothing less. It's funny how some here can judge others because they are saying something which they themselves dont understand and hence you just assume it's something stupid. There's a word for that. Yet still you can judge them and call them stupid but think so highly of yourself. That's funny though.

Look guys the job of Daria Morgenderffer has already been filled for all time... trying to be a witty misanthrope isn't what it used to be.

I don't like ICP, I don't like partying, I don't like ludeness or promiscuity, I don't like aggression as a form of expression, but I could actually see myself enjoying that. I'd rather be around down to earth people like that than be with people who are biggots, and need to think their better than everyone else all the time.

Is this propaganda of some Australian intellectual nerd think tank or something ? We are shown a video of an annual gathering of ICP fans who have given themselves the name Juggalo Then the OP labels them as anti-intellectual and the last time I checked putting the word "anti" in front of a word it means "against" So according to the op, these people are against intellectuals, and they are not, it is not a identifying marker for this Juggalo tribe. Okay, most of them are not from the top 10 universities mentioned a few posts above, but I don't see them engage in book-burnings. An Australian talking about a waste of space made me lol But one of the downsides of being smart and intellectually gifted (like most people in this thread.....) is that most people are, and always will be, stupid. Be glad that most of them don't think the apocalypse is coming within their lifetime and horoscopes have any significance....oh wait... Oh fuck it.....burn all the stupid people, buuurrn them !

As for the attack on Tila Tequila yes it was a bit much but she brought the incident on herself, she was insulting the fans before going on stage, was told not to go on, and refused originally to leave the stage when security asked her to because she wanted to show her boobs off "Mass murder makes me happy, dead bodies make me happy, say what you will of me i'll always have juggalo family" - Dark Lotus

Frankly it's a poor OP, because he doesn't give any examples of them "celebrating anti-intellectualism" nor does the video show that. You're right, though, that nobody should form ignorant opinions. With how little is in the OP just makes this whole discussion pointless and dumb.

Like it or hate it people partying and saying/doing dumb things is part of our society. Good idea, let's see how our beloved BW community does

Right? That makes sense, bring a child up in that environment. We should also hurl our own excrement like apes (oh ha, I already mentioned this) at her. It's all excusable because she insulted us and was told to not go in front of the excrement-hurling apes. I guess that makes sense, people would tell you it's foolish to jump into a Gorilla habitat at the zoo and expose your breasts and sing like Tila Tequila. Then again, those people are human and their actions are inexcusable, regardless of how much Tila was warned how populistic those "people" are.

Good idea, let's see how our beloved BW community does Yeah and you can see the big difference - Juggalos get fucked up to fuck up shit, regular (SC) people get fucked up to say silly things and get fake-mad about the martyrdom culture of the Zerg.

You sure sound like you have an axe to grind with juggalos, did they pick on you in school or something? There's plenty of 'stupid' cultures/groups out there, this isn't special. I wouldn't necessarily say they're celebrating anti-intellectualism, it's not as if a majority of University students don't party just as hard. As far as I can tell, they seem to be a rather accepting bunch (save for the tila tequila thing, but she knew the risks) for being a bunch of tweakers/alcoholics. In the end, life's just about having a good time and enjoying it, I doubt even 1% of the users of TL have made or will make a significant change in the world for the better, and these juggalos are no different.

Why on earth would you want to accept everyone for who they are? I fail to see how that's a positive trait. Why on earth would anyone accept anyone as they are, everyone you know has some kind of fucked up shit going on that you would spit nails at them for probably if you knew. Just walk up on everyone and be like "What the fuck fix your shit pussy bitch we all know what I'm talking about." While swinging a lead pipe around. And then you could be a Juggalo too.

I went to a private school, Juggalo's couldn't afford to get in. Being excessively tolerant doesn't make them angels, it makes them dangerous. There are certain lifestyles that are toxic and should not be acceptable. It's not about partying, it's about populism, violence, and aggression as well as the lack of vocabulary, syntax, and humanism. Your doubt about TL members is unwarranted, unscientific and therefore unpublishable.

Yes I went there, but it's the cold hard truth no matter how much it stings. I'm sure many people have had their runs with ICP, even I used to listen to some of their music and enjoy a song here and there for the fun aspect of it, I really don't see why we should care about what they do at their concerts and gatherings though. Lol atheists are some of the most pathetic human beings out there. Brb calling religious people idiots who need to stop spreading their belief down my throat, while I non nonchalantly call their holy book a "fairy tale" and constantly start arguments for no reason.
