I would say though... you don't need anybody's advice. You'll work through it in your own way. And if after that, you still can't stand the sight of her, the right choice will be to break up. However, if after that, things are different, the right choice will be to keep the skank.

But more on topic...obviously she thinks ur relationship is worth the risk if she decides to cheat once then two more times after that. If she doesn't put enough consideration into the relationship, why should u? And a final quote to leave you thinking "Once a cheater, always a cheater".

If someone molests a child and then tells you about it in what appears to be abject repentance, you don't act on the information? Do you feel that the child molester shouldn't be punished for simply because he has confessed that he is demented? To the original poster: it's unfortunate that I'm not as experienced in these types of issues as I might like to be (read: have only barely lost my virginity), but I'd suggest talking it over with the girl in question, especially if the two of you had mutual plans for offspring in the future. Maybe she has drastically different opinions on the value of sexual fidelity? Maybe there is some merit to said opinions? Note that I am only just coming down after a long, lonely bout with cola+whiskey and so am even less credible than I would normally would be on this type of subject. Really though, best of luck. ![]()

Sure, 6 years is huge, but there should be nothing that you can't pick up and walk away from. If you say "I can't live without her" you're already diggint yourself into a disadvantaged position because then she will know that she can do whatever the hell she wants to you and you'll still forgive her, so she can basically get away with ANYTHING." My advice would be to meet her with YOUR bags packed (figuratively, I don't know if you live together or what...), tell her that you mean to leave and then watch her response. If she's like, whatever; she's not worth your time and you just HAVE to walk away at that point. If she's repenting and she says she's truly sorry or whatever, you'll have to go on feelings from there.

I agree with eri, if you REALLY LOVE HER, and it was a 1 time mistake and you think you will truly forgive her with time, then do it, if it was a relationship with another dude, well then i wouldnt do it. Also what they said is true, someone who cheats once is likely to do it again, atleast more likely than someone who has never done it. Before "forgiving" her, think about it, can you truly forgive her?

She wants that good feeling between her legs more than she wants to stay loyal to you. Third time? Strike out at two. I'm sorry, but I think the right choice is to leave her with the guy she keeps cheating on you with, and move on, and find someone with the right priorities.
