Although Korea did adopt many things from Chinese culture due to their proximity, especially during the 3 major Korean dynasties, there are definitely certain things that Japan stole from Korea. A big example is Kimchi, and there is no way you can argue that kimchi was made in China.

You seriously don't kno what you are talking about. Even with the Chinese influence, alot of martial and art styles actually originated in Korea then gradually made its way to China and Japan.

Wrong again, Japan recently made quite a few consitutional changes that could pave a road to finally re claiming their "army" and they've always had military arms called self defense forces which mind you is more equiped and funded than most asian countries and regions except for China, Taiwan and Korea.

Taekwondo, traditional clothing, and special pottery [ Among other things ] belongs solely to Korea. I agree that China does/did have a great influence on Asia but it doesn't change the fact that things like culture, food, customs, ideals were stolen by Japanese.

all the fucking asians stole everything from fucking each other and claimed it as their own and all the fucking asians guard it with unparalleled jealousy and zealousy. its a goddamn multi-national culture fuck-fest.
that said, i proclaim that everything good in asia came from korea and everything shitty came from china and japan AHAHAH no.
joking and such shit aside, yea the island may be a piece of rock in the middle of some 65 million square miles worth of ocean, but this piece of rock happened to be between two countries with some real big grudges (predating world war 2, really), populated by a large number of people who really don't forget about grudges (at least on the mainland side).
once again, that said, the current korean government pisses the shit out of me with its hardcore corruption and latency. and don't get me started on the president.

I hope that people in TeamLiquid should know what Japan did to Korea during their occupation. 1) They tried to get rid of Korean language. They banned use of Koreans at that time. Our old generation still uses some Japanese words. That sounds horrible. Our grandfathers and grandmothers can't escape from the language habit. If the occupation had lasted some more decades, I'm afraid Koreans could lose the language. 2) Japaneses took Korean, Chinese (including Russian) women and made them prostitues for Japanese army. Do you understand? The innocent women had to have sex with Japanese soldiers for them to relieve their sexual desire! This was huge crime to human history. The suffered ladies still survive but they are dying without any repayment from Japan. 3) Current Japan prime minister visited a temple and bow to the Japaneses who started the War . This is a definite symbol that Japan doesn't regret the war they broke out; and in addition it looks like they praise it. It's so horrible that Korean and China government showed strong opposition to the behaviour.
After knowing this, you may understand more clearly why Koreans outraged at Japanese's declaration of the current Korean territory as theirs. They don't say 'I'm sorry' officially in terms of polical / economical way by hearts. (I can't find right expression for this.) Even, what they're doing is trying to take Koreans territory to theirs!

Tae Kwon Do was VERY influenced by japanese karate (whiiiich of course was heavily influenced by chinese martial arts, which in turn were even more so influenced by indian martial arts.. and they were influenced by GREECE MARTIAL ARTS like pankratium through Alexander the Great.. yeah), please do not say otherwise. If you want to be proud of korean martial arts, be proud of taek kyon, ssirum etc
Haedong kumdo is supposedly pretty korean as well.
