I am not too sure in history details but theres a conflict there which each country is claiming it's their land. Korean people get outraged whenever they hear japanese people say it's their land. Korean people get more outraged by the korean government for not showing strong action. I've heard the island is currently controlled by korean government and longer the koreans are there it will eventually be korean territory under international laws. This is the reason why korean government are staying calm and not doing any actions against japan who is claim it's their land. | ||

they always bring up the issue of Dok island periodically it is Korean territory, Koreans live on it and there's Korean police residing in that island no matter what kind of shit japan says about that island, all korea has to do is just sit and stay silent if korea were to replace the police with the military to assert that it is indeed korean territory, it just gives japan an excuse to increase their military budget... saying they feel threatened by military troops so close to their soils and shit like that no big deal... | ||
