What exactly is your problem with her reasoning? Women are on average more suppressed if you take into account Africa and the Islamic world. And nurses do work in a high stress environment. In those environments it helps a lot to dispel tension by making jokes. I'm pretty sure surgeons also make all kinds of jokes when they are among themselves.

Lets think of some other "jokes" said on mainstream television, and their repercussions: Tiger Woods should be lynched...that lady was humiliated and fired. WNBA casters talking about how the girls had nappy hair and looked like men...humiliated and relocated..
Those were just someone speaking into a microphone and you can't even see how "joyful" they are about their joke. But Sharon is bouncing up and down in her chair while the other co-casters stifle their laughter and barely coherently speak the words on the teleprompter in front of them.
It's one thing to mention jokes on the internet or things men say about women, or jokes said in private or by a stand-up comedian or on a movie but these circumstances aren't the same. The internet is not PUBLIC TELEVISION, the jokes said by nurses IN PRIVATE are not on PUBLIC TELEVISION, you pay to watch a movie or a comedian knowing there will be questionable material, that's why shows are rated for viewing purposes. This show was broadcasting to millions I'm sure, and they made a joke at the expense of a man losing his entire existence. Think about losing your breasts, at least you have a second opportunity to feel the greatest pleasures of life, but imagine how you'd feel walking around with your chest as flat as your back and that doesn't even measure up. WIthout a penis, a man cannot have a family, a man has a hard time going pee, he can't rub it up against hard things to feel the pressure....just the pressure. Some of us may be sick and/or twisted, but that's the nature of men. The nature of women isn't to cut off our penis. If all women were able to cut off our penises when they wanted, none of us would have a penis and the world would end. THINK ABOUT THAT ONE.

That video shows many of the things that's wrong with media today, making entertainment out of others tragedys. This is more serious than wife-beating but no-one is laughing about that? Very disgusting video tbh. Poor man, can't imagine the pain and humiliation.
