Just speculation atm but im quite sure it will be a closed trail to prevent him promoting his sick agendas.

I don't know. I hope so.
If not they may try to push him through a Military tribunal which normally have option of being closed to the public in most countries. Wouldn't be the first time a western country's put a terrorist through one.

The guy created his facebook and twitter accounts like a week ago. Whatever it says there doesn't have much credibility. He could've included stuff there that he just hates just to make media give them hell.

I totally agree, especially after reading a few parts of the manifesto he seems to have already put a lot of thought into his capture. It all seems to go according to plan for him right now, I hope the authorities take enough time to figure out what the best way is to handle this situation, as it could have dramatic worldwide results if some other nutjobs get inspired by this guy.

The response of the Norwegian people, and indeed the people of this world, is not.

Again he killed 90+ people most of them children and young adults innocent people killed for an unjust cause.
I doubt anyone out there gives a rats ass about him
And even if they do they are crazy or his family. He deserves to be put to Death.
being tortured killed he needs to be put to death he is sub-human.
This guy is nothing more than a flea i wish he would be skinned alive IMO
If you were to have images of the graphic slaughter of innocent children that this lunatic went on
I'm sure most of you would agree to kill this guy. (Be put to Death)
If you saw the Gore and the Slaughter and The Horror and Death this sick animal caused i think you'd agree.

and yet he clearly refers to MW2 as something that he finds "helpful" and not whole bunch of other movies and books. Every witness on the island has described him as walking around, calmly, gunning down and killing. That's exactly the kind of behavior the player engages in at the start of the airport level in MW2.

That's not what I'm saying at all. He would've done something horrific regardless of MW2 or not. MW2 did not make him kill anybody, but it obviously did help formulate his attack in some way or another.

We've been through this argument several times in the last 80 pages. Please, just leave it as is, as we will not reach an agreement on this issue, and this is not the place to discuss it.

How ironic would it be if all his work was to end up in a 5 minute trial with 30 people no more, in which he'd be told to stfu everytime he tries to spit something out, and instantly get thrown into solitary confinement for 21 years.

Chapter 3 of the compendum is chilling.. I haven't read it all but it starts out with a full page stating how everything described is 'fiction' and therefor not be used as evidence of a crime or anything like that etc. Really obvious why he did this..
Then it basically continues as a trial where he accuses everyone who is not a nationalist of being traitors and proceeds to name the charges and offers capitulation:
To all category A and B traitors in the following countries:
United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Malta and Ireland[...|
Description of the terms of capitulation
You are to immediately order the national police and military forces in the respective countries to stop persecuting any and all armed National Resistance Movements/Indigenous Rights Movements and allow us to create a tribunal consisting of 20 cultural conservative/nationalist intellectuals/political leaders per country. These individuals must oppose Islamisation, multiculturalism and have a long and credible track record in patriotic oriented political activism. All selected individuals must be staunch supporters of nationalistic ideological principles.
It is basically his motive right there in that 3rd chapter.. I don't want to post it all. But basically he want every muslim to convert to christianity, change their name, not speak arabic, demolish all mosques, destroy all Islam/arabic buildings & artwork, to not speak with other Muslims abroad, to not have more than 2 children, illegal to travel to a muslim country.

this is a serious matter.. and whats worst: the attention from 90 people being killed is totally shifting to his manifesto..
its..
stunning..
in a very very sad, bad and frightening way

I don't see how it "obviously" did anything.

In his manifest he explains he wanted to get caught so he can continue the battle from jail. He wants to ignite a bigger 'movement' and he tries to motivate like minded people to carry out the same kind of attacks. The idea is to have 'lone wolf' method where people can read his manifest and copy it.
He also explains he can justify killing females, which is apparently something he had problems with, by telling himself every woman is a daughter, sister or mother to someone that is a justified target and that in this 'battle' innocent people have to die on both sides, 'like the girl that committed suicide after being gang raped by muslims'
I hope all intolerant western people now get a reality check. Even if you are completely non violent, if you share views with him you are clearly in the wrong and if you express them you are being just as dangerous as fundamentalist muslims. These are two sides waging battle on the middle road and both sides use extremely cruel violence.
|
Pretty sure he will hurt his cause more than anything. There are a lot of people in Europe who would support his believes, but (I hope) there are only very few people who think killing kids is in any way justified because of that.
His book is dangerous though, might trigger more acts like that if the wrong people read it.
Oh and could you Americans stop bringing up the death penalty here? We just don't do that in Europe. Look at the list of countries who still have and and the ones who don't. Might be interesting to see who agrees with you here...
