what would you use it for?(Assuming no limit on the parts you can control of the single robot (ie. more than a hand), and also assuming that you are close enough for it to connect with your movements without you actually being right next to it)

I lost a toenail that not only took months to grow back, but when it did, it grew back without the shiny exterior coat that all other nails have. I'm not well-versed enough in nail anatomy to explain it any better than that, but it is possible to damage a nail permanently.

You've heard heard of all the broodwar bonjwa. (flash, July etc) never heard of a starcraft 2 bonjwa. Is there a set achievement you have to accomplish be called a bonjwa? (like the golden mouse or something?) I would have thought that MVP in his prime would have been considered bonjwas. Is it just that no one had been dominant for a long enough period in starcraft 2 to be a bonjwa?

Because the other lanes are full of 4+ passenger vehicles with 1 person in them. The # of cars would be cut in half if they just paired up. The HOV lane is a reward for those who take the extra front-end time to make sure they aren't traveling alone. It also serves as a reminder of how much more efficient your travel would be if you either used a single occupancy vehicle or utilized the thousands of pounds of extra steel your burning fossil fuels to drag with you everywhere. There's more to it than that but that should get you started.

There's more to it than that but that should get you started. Thats fine in theory but alls it takes is some wet black paint to go back to normal. The HOV lanes in Portland have completely ruined traffic congestion - rush hour comes 1/2 hour sooner and leaves an hour later, I'm sure its worse in other cities. All those cars idling in traffic makes pollution worse even if its for a good cause or whatever. It's simple math, removing a lane or two even is going to make things slower, its essentially a permanent lane closure / road work. And while its not enforced really it's a useless thing for cops to look out for cheaters. Its onne "green idea" that just cant work when you only have 2 lanes to begin with on your major highways (I-5.) Seriously, what a terrible concept, the amount of people who realistically can leave their car at home and partner up with someone is so small let alone the ones that actually take the time riding with a stranger.

Is it just that no one had been dominant for a long enough period in starcraft 2 to be a bonjwa? Well, you kind of answered your own question. No one in Starcraft 2 has been dominant enough to earn the title. It's not Broodwar-exclusive. See: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/Bonjwa
