My personal opinion, but the obvious blindness to the racial insensitivity here is in stark contrast to the sensitivity to issues like homosexuality and and sexism. It's frustrating and a bit upsetting that even the crew here seems so oblivious. But realizing the racial distribution of TL members, (especially in politics) it's not all that surprising. I guess I'll just be happy its better than most places on most stuff.

Maybe it's a bit lame but urban driving pisses me off at best and troubles me deeply at worst when it comes down to getting my car parked. I've always had a good sense of orientation in suburbs and I can get those places mapped out very easily and I find them intuitive to drive in, but cities confuse me, especially because of all the ****ing one ways. I turn on a smaller street to find a parking space and then the street curves around and I lose all my reference points.

Last night I went to downtown Montreal and it took me forever to get parked. I fucking hated that.

Dear professor who doesn't respect students' time and seems quite disorganized,

Either get your stuff together or stop dumping more and more unnecessary work on us at the busiest time of year.

He emailed at 1AM this morning telling the class that every group to meet up with the class TA today after class and talk about our projects with him, along with have a basic write-up done that isn't actually due until a week from now. He keeps doing stuff like this. Early next week we now have two separate write-ups about the project due and have to present some of the project. We weren't given clearance to start until this past Friday (two weeks past when he said he would inform groups. He has to approve of projects himself), and my partner and I have both been quite busy with other work so we're basically hosed for today.

Some police totally disgust me. Shot a 10 yo kid in the leg because they missed the dog (which have never killed any officer), and shot and killed a naked unarmed man. These fucks need different jobs.
