I caught a former crush taking a long stare at me when I walked by her at work. I chased this chick for 8 months before finally giving up after finding out she was lying to me about her relationship status. I would have liked NOTHING more than to read her mind at that very moment. Just that one moment she noticed I saw her staring. I don't care about what she was thinking while I didn't know.

It would make me so happy if she was pissed off or swearing at me or something. Just one moment of ESP and I may have been able to die happy!

I fucking hate my job. I can't stand it. Every second that I spend in this place makes me absolutely miserable.

Seems kind of stupid to post about it here, but hopefully I'll find something else soon.

Today I finally snapped at someone asking me to fix their Aspire Laptop with windows 8 and you know what It felt fucking great to get 12 years of pent up hostility out towards people who heard I am good with computers and naturally assumed I have nothing better to do then to spend my last night off before I go back to work then to fix their computer. I said, " No and I don't and won't have time to fix it, if you can't fix it yourself your going to have to pay someone who isn't me to fix it for you." The person got upset but I tuned them out and just hung up and followed that by blocking their number then calling the person who gave them my number and politely telling them to never give out my number to anyone to fix their computer I am not everyone's free tech support and I don't want to do that job even if people pay me to do it.

You know what's a valuable life skill that anyone who owns any piece of technology should pick up? Using google, type in what your operating system is and what is happening and if you can get the exact error code its spitting out that would be great because that is exactly what I would do if I gave a crap about fixing it. Which I don't its not my computer and I am not paid tech support for you or anyone else the only persons computer I will fix is my own which I haven't had to fix after my second year of owning one. You see I went through the painful learning curve of doing every stupid thing technicians roll their eyes at while trying to hide their utter contempt for the sheer stupidity that keeps them employed. You know that guy you call to fix your computer the one you hardly know the one who you don't really call a friend but you call when you break your fancy IOS gadget or other device and then pretend to get chummy with him/her? Well that person knows their not your friend they know your using them because your too stupid to fix your own shit. But they help you anyway because they are a nice person and you reward this by being passively polite to them for the week following your fuckup until that period of immediate gratitude is over and then you never call them again or ask them to hang out. And boom like clock work a few months later you break another one of your toys and repeat the process. And you know what that person fucking hates you. I hate you, and I hate that I was born with a natural curiosity and desire to look for solutions to my own problems so that I don't need to have to ask another person for help.

In closing if your one of those people who does that sort of thing to someone like me; seriously do us a favor and lose our number; its better to have you never call then to only call when you need something. Its frankly much more honest and less exploitative that way.

Hahaha... I know exactly how you feel. If your curiosity/nice guy takes over at some point just install some spyware on their device so you can at least see what it is they are doing since you fixed it for them.

Then when they inevitably come back to fix it again you can subtly hint at some of the more 'private' uses they have for their device. You'll feed a potential curiosity, keep them from wanting to hand over their device for 'repair', and leave them with some lingering paranoia.

If you're worried about the legality just have them sign a Terms and Conditions... We all know they would never read it.
