Yes, I copied and pasted. Yes, I knew what it was. No, you apparently do not. Government run things never promote productiveness. Look at Europe. Those people vacation more than they work. They're fucking LAZY.

I was gonna reply that our taxes are way higher than yours but it looks like I was wrong.. I'm pretty surprised. I thought our taxes were way higher than yours, but i guess thats outdated. Should attract alot of business to Canada :D

life isn't supposed to be work. more vacations than work would be a really good thing, of course it's not true though. but that would be truly awesome.

I just want to point out that the Chicago school systems have the most money put into them in Illinois, and are also the WORST schools in Illinois. You seriously can't go into a worse school system.
CPS still doesn't pay their teachers anything, and they still don't have textbooks, etc. Daley must have a bunch of his cousins on the payroll or something.
You're wrong about spending levels, too. Cook County spends a little less than $6k per student per year. Most of the suburbs spend significantly more. Here's what some other Illinois schools are spending:
Deerfield/Highland Park $17,991 Lake Forest $15,218 NewTrier $14,160 Glenbrrok North/South $13,832 Libertyville $12,867 District 214 $12,819 Mundelein $11,892 Stevenson $11,162
This leads in beautifully to my post about the WORST part of the US.
Everyone here is so fucking sure their opinions are right, there's no need to get any facts. You walk around talking to people, and they're either brainwashed by Limbaugh to think that schools are overfunded and inefficient, or some idiot liberal who tells you how many students just one stealth bomber could put through school, or that racism holds all those poor black kids back.
Our education system sucks. Noone thinks for themselves. People all come out behaving like sheep - they hear somethign once somewhere and accept it as a fact of life as if some old crazy bearded guy stumbled off a mountain with their opinions carved in stone by God.
Look at our elections, but from a new persepctive. Instead of blaming the politicians, look at it like this: They are doing whatever they think is best to win votes. What kind of people would be swayed one way or the other by the political ads, debates, etc.? Fucking morons, that's who.
We have a country of completely inadequately educated yet supremely self confident people. Stupidity, power, and American-style "God's on our side so who the hell's on yours?" attitudes is an ugly combination.
And people in the midwest are horribly overweight. Whoever was complaining about German girls, please don't. I will trade you the women in Michigan for the women in Germany any day.

There's another thing that pisses me off, but it's not country specific. Reading comprehension. I never stated it as fact, I stated it "as far as I know." (knew, now) I said, "I think" several times in the post, meaning, I could very well be wrong, but am not going to look up actual statistics.
EDIT: I don't type "properly," so sometimes I hit two keys at once that would be seemingly impossible to hit together, but it's because of my improper typing style.

Okay time for reading comprehension check. Here is the first paragraph of your post, in its entirety:
I just want to point out that the Chicago school systems have the most money put into them in Illinois, and are also the WORST schools in Illinois. You seriously can't go into a worse school system. Money doesn't mean everything, and in fact, when it comes to education, it means very little. Some of the poorest schools in this state (as far as I know) have turned out the best testing scores. The school district I used to be in was the second largest in the state (I think, it was really high up there), yet it was on that government plan to be taken over by the state, because of low performance. As I said, it has little to do with money. It's the general attitude of the people in the school that makes it bad.
As you can see, you never, in any way, added a qualifier to the statement "I just want to point out that the Chicago school systems have the most money put into them in Illinois, and are also the WORST schools in Illinois. You seriously can't go into a worse school system. Money doesn't mean everything, and in fact, when it comes to education, it means very little." You stated that is if it is a fact. You only added the qualifier to some of your subsequent statements.

yes Canada's tax is WAY too high indeed >.<''

A major problem we've always had in america is the idea that our government can spend more money than it actually has. I've always wondered how we get away with that one.
In my part of the country too, we have the youth WAY too worried about school. 90% of the students in my school are taking at least 1 AP course. Kids at my school proportionately apply to the ivy league schools than almost everywhere else in the country. Some people don't make it... and we have one of the highest suicide rates in the country because of this. (I hear this is a problem in japan too?)

MY COUNTRY SUKS LOL~
Do I really have to list problems? There's a lot and none of them will really ever get fixed.

if someone would actually commit suicide becoz he/she cannot get into any ivy league,,,,then that pretty much shows he/she is inadequate for ivy league anywayz...

The only problem with canada is that quebec is still apart of it:
Vive la Québec libre!!!
Just kidding, we need quebec for poutine and someone to blame our problems on. Ooops, we have the maritimes for that.

Let's test your reading comprehension. I said, "has the most money put into it." Which is true, it does. Perhaps it doesn't have the highest per capita rating, but it definitely has more money put into it. Chicago has a population of nearly 3,000,000 people, while Highland Park has about a tenth of that. Tell me that about 6k toward the amount of people in the Chicago School system is not more than that toward the ones in Highland Park. Did I misrepresent something? Yes. Was I wrong? No. What I said was completely factual. Not to mention that you take your statistics from 2001, and they have probably changed since then. That's not really important, though. Also, I can't find the link right now, but 39 (can't remember where that is) spends a bit over $8k a year, and is still among the top in testing scores.
There it is: http://www.d181.org/news/press/project39.htm
EDIT: I did some quick math, estimating at 17,000 per child, at the total population of Highland Park (I did that at 30,000). It came out to $510,000,000. I read at another site that Chicago spends 3.8 BILLION dollars on education. $510,000,000 falls about 3.3 billion dollars short.
"Within CPS's $3.8 billion operating budget, $2.5 billion is spent on education, including basic instruction, supplemental support, and school-based administration. The remaining $1.3 billion is spent on tuitions to private companies for special education and pre-school students, counseling, social and health services, food transportation, maintenance, security, pensions, and central office administration."
