Most people here are whiners and very lazy. Life goes "well" when they just are lazy but then something bad happens to their family or friends and they start complaining how everyone else and the government suck and must be burnt alive. If someone here even becomes a SUSPECT of raping some girl or murdering someone, he gets beaten up on the street by massive crowds, unless the police protects him well enough. And if so happens, people go and destroy his house and beat his family up, and maybe proceed to destroy a police station or two (seriously). It doesnt matter if the suspect is later proven to be innocent. This has happened many times, its sickening. Most people are fucking hypocrites (sp?) and EVERYONE complains about corruption but a lot of the people complaining are so fucking corrupt themselves that it makes you numb, most of the time i think "what the fuck?" when anything happens over here. Theres corruption even at schools' fathers associations (not kidding). Actually people are so corrupt over here that if you try to be nice and honest most people will say you are just a corrupt bastard pretending to be a honest person, which leads people to be even more lazy and unhelpful to others. Other than that, people pretend to be nice all the time when they meet strangers, so its mostly very nice to live here, but dont get to know anyone too well or you'll regret it. Seriously, not talking about any specific person, most people are like that.

We're supposed to be some rich, superpower of a country, yet we have high level of poverty, we talk about our budget in terms of how much less we're going in debt relative to the last years, and while we have a free education system, less and less funds are being put into it. Or something like that, because I know our schools arent getting as much funding that we need. I just want to point out that the Chicago school systems have the most money put into them in Illinois, and are also the WORST schools in Illinois. You seriously can't go into a worse school system. Money doesn't mean everything, and in fact, when it comes to education, it means very little. Some of the poorest schools in this state (as far as I know) have turned out the best testing scores. The school district I used to be in was the second largest in the state (I think, it was really high up there), yet it was on that government plan to be taken over by the state, because of low performance. As I said, it has little to do with money. It's the general attitude of the people in the school that makes it bad. That being said, I think our country is really fucked. I seriously can't see anything getting better, and I'm really tired of this war. I'm tired of the money it's taking to run it, and how inefficiently it's being run. I don't think the other choice this year would have done any better, come on, he was a weak candidate, but Bush is doing a poor job over there, too. We need other countries to help us out, but they've all been ousted. Our national debt keeps growing, and instead of cutting back on expenses, we keep adding more. That's something that's been going on for a long time, though. Fuck the donations to other countries, we have problems of our own. We need to fix those before we can fix any other countries problems. I'm sick of these dumb fucks who think that killing people overseas is going to stop terrorism. Being a pacifist won't either, but there has to be some other way. I'm glad that shit's over there and not here, though. Too much socialism is killing this country. People are growing too dependent on others to do everything for them, and that's why we haven't done shit for who knows how long now. If the government would just back down, and force people to make decisions for themselves, instead of being spoon-fed by them, we'd see a better country, with less idiocy, and more productivity. Not to mention a smaller population, meaning less consumption, and no more of those asshole SUV drivers. There are a lot of problems with this country, and the whole world, for that matter, but I think they can be fixed if we get the right people in there to fix it. Just who those right people are, though.... On February 02 2005 14:02 WhizKid77 wrote: americans consume too much. waste too much - food, supplies, energy (gas guzzling SUVs). things get thrown away too often, and people buy new things instead of repairing broken ones. entertainment industry too overpaid, (read: hollywood/sports/music). needs to be more socialist. needs to value education more. americans kinda lazy, but for some reason leads in many technology sectors. i suppose as in any country, the range of types of people is really wide, so things can't really be generalized. HAHAHA! Being more socialist is going to cure laziness? The government is corrupted, but you won't notice anything if you aren't anti-communism. Majority of the country is still poor. The difference between the rich and the poor is too great. Everyone is greedy and manipulative. Children are under too much pressure (too much competition). Canada: Taxes are too high (15%, WTF?) Too cold / Too much snow. Too hard to get liquor.

People are SO STUPID! they cant even do simple arithmetic with out a calculator. Way too frenzy on entertainment, look at the much $$ go to the hippies and they spend them on drugs and fat ass gold watches and ugly american cars, no wonder the country is going to dogs. Dumb government, they intervene too much, they think they are acting justice in the world, help other ppl out, but its annoy to trouble other country of their own business, so american can just fuck off and leave them alone. And economy sucked lately, too many imports and no exports, with job outsourced and ppl dumb and fuck! So conclude all, american=the dumbest ppl around.

There are little parties you can go to without going all in into that lifestyle imo. About the only thing you can do is go clubbing. Politicians made the most retarded decisions concerning the olympic stadium, lost tons of cash. We have the worst water system ever.

The fucking Patriot Act. People who support the Patriot Act saying, "well, it doesn't effect me, so what do I care? I don't do shit I shouldn't do, so what does it matter to me?" This really pisses me off, because the government is in direct violation of the fourth amendment, part of the same Constitution that guarantees them the right to speak out against the government. The very same Constitution they say they "uphold" when it comes to other issues, such as free speech, and gun ownership. Suddenly, though, when it doesn't DIRECTLY effect them, it's okay, that part isn't important. The only thing I will agree with those fools on is that the Constitution doesn't apply to non-citizens of the United States, or at least people who are here legally. Like when they catch some fucking wetback who raped and killed some girl, and someone fucking saw the guy do it, hell, ten people saw the guy do it, but they have a "right" to a trial. No, they don't, the Constitution doesn't pertain to them. I suppose it's a good idea that we do apply it to people that aren't citizens, but are legally here, though, because I'd sure as hell hate to break some other countries rules and be hung for it. People who are here illegally (no green card, nothing) should not be treated the same as those who go through the process, though. That's another thing that pisses me off. All these illegal fucks and how they get away with robbing the system. Then, when they get caught, off to Mexico they go! They stole thousands of dollars from the government, so now I have to pay more taxes! Then they have no insurance for their damned cars, and when they hit you they just run! What happens? Not a damned thing! They aren't forced to pay assloads of money out in fines for not having insurance or a liscense. Nope, they're let off! (This has happened to me before, so I'm not really making this shit up) The people here are so fucking stupid it pisses me off. That and we're all so lazy. I'm lazy, I'll admit it, but I have a job, and go to school. People who are lazier than me piss me off. Those fucks who bleed the system on unemployment when they get laid off, rather than finding another job. For example, my U.S. History teacher actually worked at a Menard's (which is a hardware store if you've never heard of it) during the summer instead of taking unemployment like a lot of her co-workers did. This country is so fucked up...
