yeah that stuff works great, i used it to repair my goalie mask a few years ago when the chin area shattered from a puck. was able to repaint it nicely and its damn solid.

I think they are out of line and I don't think anyone would say them to my face. However, it is the Internet and the Internet says what it damn well pleases and that is going to stop me from making the costumes I want, saying the things I believe or doing the activities I love.
Not going to lie, as crude as some of them are, they can be somewhat flattering. I think most girls won't admit it, but I'm not going to lie. If a guy finds me attractive enough that he wants to tell the whole world how he got himself off to me, well, then I guess I can count that as a compliment to my look, right? Haha, I don't approve of what a lot of people say about me, but I don't get upset about it either.

when i saw blizzcon i always wondered why she didn't win was so amazed at that costume was unbelievable but i'm fairly new to cosplay and just guessed it was something to do with it being bought maybe. i was not sure tho.

Imho just mix and match what you like best/is affordable for you. Most people only know Mira by her face(from the campaign), so you should focus on pink hairstyle, 1 red contactlense, fake scars and headband with glowing goggles.
If you like going in a bikini costume(Cosplayers are showoffs, there I said it) you should in my opinion still go with one shoulder plate and the grenade belt and maybe pants in favor of naked legs
I can´t imagine a mercenary with naked legs. Mercenaries should, like real world soldiers, probably carry quite some equipment. (different kits for first aid, cleaning guns etc.) Here is a pic for reference: + Show Spoiler +

I'm a guy so I'm tempted to go with Kerrigan, but I suppose that is kind of cliche. In regards to that the Selendis suggestion was actually pretty cool. Anything people put time in is awesome to watch though. Just don't go as the Goliath pilot please..
i don't get the haters. i think what riku's doing is really cool, and her costumes are pretty well-made and obviously not designed with skimpiness as the main objective. alexstraza really does look like that o_o
