I don't really agree with the itching btw. I'm a regu-shaver but I never had any problems with itch at all. Perhaps that's cause I don't really go for the 100% bald look

well thats what im tryin to clear up, you dont itch every time, usually just once and it goes away forever. But youre saying you didnt even itch the first time, lucky you. For everyone else, dont be afraid of it. The only hassle youll have to worry about is cleanin up the hair pile. Make sure you shower right after your shave, to clean up all the loose hairs you couldnt visibly see, even if you swabbed the area with a towel or something. Or else youll have underwear covered in pubes.

Hmm and if you shave, how often do you have to shave to keep it lookin' nice. And if you don't does it grow back in larger quantities than it was before starting to shave?

shaving it seems kind of fucked up to me, so much work~
wouldn't do it more than once a month at most if I'd decided to shave, and probably not at all =-)

Well, I dont think I want to put up with the hascle of re-shaving, but I was thinking of trimming it with some clippers.

Is this any good? And does it grow back? Cause i know when u SHAVE something it grows back fuller / faster / darker. Is it the same for just cutting the hair ?

Has anyone tried this, work? not work?

There's a reason hair grows back faster/darker for most men, and it's because they cut against the grain and when it grows back, the follicles have been curved a certain way so when they grow back it SEEMS to be thicker and to grow faster. I don't know if this is 100% reliable information but I've seen this on TV somewhere about facial hair and how girls/guys think it does but after a study they found it grew the same length and the thickness of the hair made the difference. They said you could just ' Go with the flow ' like Bey said [ I think it was Bey ] and it will grow like it did before. So you could conclude this is the same for your private hairs.

Also, I was just wondering but wtf is ingrown hairs, that is scary, like hairs growing the other way into your body?

doesn't really grow back in larger quantities, atleast, not in my experience. (everything I'm saying is merely based on my own experience =] ) The shaving itself is done in 5-10 min, not much of a hassle at all. It's of course different per person how quickly it starts growing back again :O, just shave when you think it's going to look ugly or when it's causing trouble

Shaving does maybe it look bigger.. I'll shave my shaft (suggest using an electric cutter afterwords) and cut the rest about.. 1/8 I think it is? The smallest thing that comes with a hair clipper..same length I keep my goatee

You shouldn't have that bad of itching.

I shave it because I like the feeling of not having hair down there in silk boxers and the ladies like it better when giving me oral. There's also some added sensation - the pubic area on top of your penis, now cleanly shaven, comes into contact with her skin during intercourse.

It's not fun when it starts growing back. I just trim it with scissors to keep it from turning into a horrible mass of hair, but I'm not sure about shaving, short hair will pretty much do about the same thing

I think I probably would shave but with a military group I'm with (NJROTC), guys shower naked with other guys. I'd feel a little strange being shaved around them.

(It's not that bad. Most people just look straightforward at the guy's back of the enck.)

Shaving can never, ever make your hair grow faster. It only creates the illusion of doing so.

The normal human hair has a thick root and a fine, tapered edge. When you shave, you cut the hair off at skin level, where its thick. When the new hair sprouts, it wont have a tapered end, in fact, a thick one. So this new hair with an equal thickness throughout gives a more dense appearance and hence the illusion that the hair has grown back faster...when in fact it has only grown back with one difference, and thats with a thick edge.

Ive been wanting to shave my pubs too~ And as for Shaving the legs. I dont, but i have a bunch of friends who do and the girls always compliment them. Infact one of my girlfriends told me i should shave my legs.
