The term "shaving" is ambiguous. There is using a razor blade and there is using a trimmer. Which of these you choose says many things about you. (1) Shaving is better when u want the smooth look to last longest. Trimming is safer and less itchy but doesn't last quite as long. IMO trimming is best for most purposes and shavers are just trying too hard to start a career in gay porn. If porn is ur future, moisturize the area immediately afterwards otherwise u will get "razor rash", which looks like a venereal disease to the uninitiated. (2) Your girl does care about your appearance and hair does get in the way sometimes, so removing excess hair is a good idea. Trimming is all u need here; shaving will raise her suspicions about (1). (3) Shaving ur chest is OK if ur into bodybuilding and have something to show off. Otherwise do not ever shave ur chest. My brother shaves his chest but that's because he's lean and benches 300lb on a bad day. Catch my drift? (4) Shaving ur legs means u are a swimmer and/or "experimenting" or considering a career in... ummm, go back to (1). Same especially goes for shaving ur ass. (5) Shaving your head is usually a bad idea unless u have a special sexiness in that hairstyle. See Samuel L. Jackson or Patrick Stewart. (6) Shaving ur eyebrows brings back best-forgotten memories of Vanilla Ice and may lead to ur premature death. | ||

IMO: Men- shaven faces or unshaven faces, either is ok. Women- faces should be shaved if they have excess facial hair. Legs can be shaven or unshaven, either is ok Arms can be shaven or unshaven, although IMO unshaven is better. | ||
