as long as US doesn't draft my ass, ill be more - okay.
Cuz really that's whats worrying me the most lol. Last thing i need is to be in a squad of draftee's who don't actually aim at their target cuz they don't wanna kill people like in Vietnam (if im not mistaken, it was that war that showed most draftee's shot high on purpose)

Wasn't that in the movie why men stare at goats?
Was it an actual study?
But I agree last thing I want is to be Drafted into a group of soldiers that all don't wan't to be there and are scared shitless. I would definately fall into that category.

I don't understand why this scares you more than the news of more artillery firings on the border of NK.
What could China possibly say that has everyone scared so much?

More likely China and N.Korea announce willingness to talks.

Generation Y draftees? Now there's a sight.

Heres to hoping that China is going to say "We pledge to fully support any South Korean military action, and will lend full military and financial aid to end the rogue state that is North Korea.."

That right there would mean war, don't know if I really would want China to say that. Cause then NK really is backed in a corner and you know what they say about animals when they are backed into a corner.

I think everyone would be an authority on strategy after playing so many videogames, and everyone would know what usually happens to the guy that rushes in first and tries to flank. Sure every 1-10 times he gets in and get's like 5 easy kills.

Yes, this is very, very scary.
I really hope that China steps up to the plate and supports talks, or South Korea. That would be huge. As the emerging world power, the responsibility shown by such an action would set a tone for the next few years of Chinese diplomacy.
No one, especially India and the US, wants an aggressively rising China.

North Korea is already in a corner, they attacked a civilian island. Better to have one animal in a corner rather than that animal as well as a 500 pound pseudo-communist bear in a corner.

That is what we don't know. China originally took North Korea's side, but now China is becoming more westernized, so we don't know if they're still with North Korea or not.
