If you don't absolutely need a microphone attached to the set and are willing to deal with two separate devices, the headphones + separate microphone combo is often a better value. Desk mics and clip-ons range in price and performance, and what you need probably depends on the ambient noise level. You didn't specify requirements for the microphone, closed-back (sound isolating) or open-back (non-isolating) design, so it's hard to say. A decent circumaural closed headphone for about $40 is the JVC HA-RX700, if you want to start from there. Personally I don't find any on-ear sets to be comfortable.

If its like playing music through speakers i may have to consider other options. It's like playing music through speakers, except that they're attached to your head and are thus really close to your ears and much farther to everybody else. Maybe this is a meaningless reference without proper context, but headphones are rated in mW of input power, while full speakers are rated in W of input power. If you listen at a low-ish volume, nobody is going to be able to hear several feet away unless you're in an anechoic chamber (well seriously, any environment with unusually low ambient noise). Many people listen at volumes higher or much higher than that though. Not to start a holy war or anything, but I'd consider options other than the HD 555's even if the openness is not a problem. There's nothing wrong with them, but just saying...

Returned no more in stock, any other suggestions for a replacement earbuds? I hear good things about triple fi but I don't know where I can buy other than ebay for 220+ (I live in canada too btw) if you like deep, powerful, accurate bass (i assume you do because you got the monster turbines), try the Hippo VB. it's probably the best choice and value for the type of sound you're looking for.
