Learn/train so that you can, at the very least:
1. DB bench press with 115 lbs dumbbells 2. Squat to parallel at least 355 lbs 3. Perform weighted pull-ups with an additional 45 lbs 4. Perform weighted dips with an additional 135 lbs
The above stats are suitable for someone who's 6' 170-180 lbs. Good things will happen.

90% it is sheer brute force. Creativity is hard work, pure and simple.
Also,

Good point. The more you know, the more creative you can be. I am not sure if there is something like creativity after all.

That sounds like a backwards life trick. The goal is to get more drunk.
I think what he meant to say what you will get drunk at a slower pace. So you dont black out 1 hour into the night. Unless of course that is the goal....95% of the time.

I love this thread.
My 2 cents regarding WATER.
The human body is made up of around 80% water. If you're not hydrated well you can have some not so great side effects; irritability, goggyness, fatigue, cramps. So drink a full glass of water whenever you have are feeling one of these symptoms, you can never have too much water.
tips to help you remember to drink water: -If your urine is yellow or smelly, drink some water -Bags under your eyes, drink some water -light headed or dizzy, drink some water -If you are craving some soda, juice or milk, drink some water first -Feeling hungry before meal time, drink some water. This actually helped me lose weight because I found out most the time when I'm trying to think of something to eat I'm really just thirsty. -Drink a glass of water before bed. Makes getting up in the morning easier because you feel refreshed and you'll probably have to pee anyway.

Dunno if this is commonly known or not, but growing up in the countryside I used to get a lot of tick bites. These buggers can cause dangerous diseases and will definitely cause infection if you don't remove them properly.
Do not use mechanical force to remove the gits. This will leave their mandible / human-eating bits in the bite, causing nasty painful infections (personal experience)
The commonly known method is using a lighter to burn the buggers off, this works as they retract the bitey bits to run away from the flame, but is a risk if like me you tend to notice too late if you are burning yourself.
The best way my family have dealt with them is to put petroleum jelly (vaseline) on them. It asphyxiates them and they will die, which retracts the bitey bits so about ten minutes after application they can be wiped off, no nasty infection left and no silly self-inflicted burn scars.

If you live in an area where it snows today and sunny tomorrow (north eastern US? lake effect here in upstate NY) pop out your windshield wipers when you park so it doesn't freeze to the window.
When peeling hard/soft boiled eggs knock it gently on the more round / less sharp end if boiled correctly there should be a little air pocket there and it will be a lot easier to peel.
If your using the stove top for multiple things make sure you turn on/off the one you need (yes it can be confusing at times).
Burning popcorn is easy take precaution and be close to the microwave. There has been countless nights where I was forced to outside in the middle of the winter for someone who didn't know how to microwave a bag of popcorn and setting of the fire alarm in my dorm days.

NO! You wait to eat so IF you get too drunk you can slow it down. Otherwise you are wasting alcohol.

Ok heres some real tips
-Strength training is the best way to lose weight and burn calories for men OR women AND it will make you strong if your a man and if your a woman you won't gain any muscle.
-Running for long distances is for hamsters or the severely obese. Google HIIT and burn calories all day with 15min of exercise.
-You can't train for cardio (endurance) and strength at the same time because its two types of muscle fibers that interfere. Just lift weights and maybe do some HIIT.
Stretching is BAD. Unless ur a hot chick there is no reason to get super flexible. It actually hurts strength and risks injury. There are a few dynamic stretches and things for people who don't have full mobility but that yoga garbage isn't good for you. Thing like your lower back are for stability not motion. This is especially true before strength training as you lose the elasticity so you can't lift as much weight and risk injury.
*most people need stretching because they sit all day, but once you get to a certain point its bad. Standing at your computer or doing hip mobility stretches a few times a day is important.
-Drink 1 gallon of water per day or more
Actually this is gonna be too hard and take too long. Stronglifts.com has all teh answers u need. I can't really explain everything in detail here or enough.

when you pop popcorn, wait until you can count to three whole seconds between the pops. Then turn off the microwave and your popcorn will be popped almost perfectly :D

OK, you say Stretching is bad. But you come from the perspective of muscle mass building and strength gain. I have done gymnastic before, and the goal was strength & flexibility. Please don't make a statement like "stretching is BAD". Stretching has it's purpose. Just make sure your clear to your audience that they know in which context stretching is bad.
Other than that, I do like the HIIT. I knew it as isometric training when I was doing it. It's a great training method and produces fantastic results if you also have a great diet to go along with it.
Thanks for your contribution, just don't be so hasty to label certain things as bad.

It will greatly improve your endurance, reduce stress, and overall just make you feel great.
Ive heard both parts about stretching, actually, all three: Some say its superbad, some says its awesome and some says it doesnt matter. Im more of the "do it if it works for you".
Now, this might sound like bullshit since many of you seem to like the idea of drinking alot of water. But, like with everything that goes out of control, drinking alot of water is plain bad: Drinking too much water will first of all make your body bloated and you will gain weight. Water might increase your blood volume - wich leads to excessive burdens on your heart and bloodvessels. Kidneys get more work since you are owerflowing them with water wich might lead to serious problems aswell. You can even get waterpoisoning, a fatal disease that causes your brain to stop working. (dont worry, just happens in contests where people down alot of water in short time).
Generally, there are those who say 1-2 liters of water a day is good, (half a gallon) and there are those who say "when you are thirsty, drink, otherwise you will get enough fluid from food." (common sense - if you sweat more, drink more water)
Learn to cook and bake: Buy a "oldfashioned" cookingbook with alot of classic recipes and tips to get you started, follow the recipes and when more confident, experiment. Alot of people are impressed with cookingskills (esp the ladies..)
Dont think in terms of "is these healthy for me?" with everything. It all comes down to not overdoing it. Eating too much once in a while is not gonna make you fat. Eating too much every meal, 6 times a day is. Smoking cigarettes sometimes isnt gonna kill anyone. Smoking 2 packs a day are.
Dont feel like you HAVE to live a life full with action, sleeping with every girl you see, getting drunker then everybody just so you are living life to the fullest, making a career and earning tons of money etc etc. Everything is gonna be ok.
Dont be an ass.
Will think of more.

NEVER burn them or you'll increase the chance of disease transfer. I can't cite the sources as I'm not about to go searching for them, but this description should suffice:
If you were in the midst of enjoying a nice drink, and someone burned your butt, what would you do? You would probably spit the contents of your mouth all over the place. Essentially, that's what ticks will do- though spitting is not an accurate description. This increases the transfer of disease. It is the transfer of fluid into you- from their saliva and gut which will pass disease.
Mechanical force is still the safest method. If they're leaving their mandibles behind, then you're probably removing them incorrectly. Use a tweezer and try to grab as much of the little guy as possible. The tweezer should be parallel to a line created by connecting a point between his head, and butt. Even still, if the mouth is left behind, it's safer than burning. Remove the mouth in the same fashion you would remove a splinter.
If you're still getting infections, then stop eating McDonalds or something and take better care of yourself overall.

Stop caring about other people's opinion of you unless they are your family or best friend. This is the best advice you will ever get.
Never, ever abandon your friends over a woman. The ones that are worth it will let you have your space anyway.
Don't feel sorry for yourself it makes no sense. Be thankful for any good things in your life.
Don't abandon faith just because religion is idiotic.
Don't suck up to people who are popular or rich. It makes you look like a dumbass.
Read books.
Do martial arts or at least sports.
Try to be good at something so you can die a better man than you were born.

Could you elaborate a bit? Faith in what? I'll have "faith" in myself I guess, but I' wont poison my mind with some superstitious non-sense.
A lot of these recent "tips" really do not seem like good tips. Ex.Stretching is bad or don't worry about eating health, everything is good in moderation

If you're cold, for instance on a camping trip or something and cant stay warm, go pee A LOT. Your body actually uses a ton of energy to hold it in when it could go to keeping you warm. Seriously this actually helps a lot.
Dont go to class stoned, especially if its a small class. Your professor will know, and he/she will call on you repeatedly

One thing that has helped me alot with women is realising that you need to look at their actions, and not what they actually say.
That perhaps dosent just ring true for women, but men too. People can and will say anything in a moment but what they do is what really matters.
