I would have made this a blog, but I couldn't figure out how to @_@

So I have a friend who knows almost nothing about starcraft, but knows enough to know that there is a pro scene for it. She is currently in Seoul for the next 3 weeks, and I need her to bring me back ANY kind of starcraft thing (shirt, keyboard, jacket, mousepad, etc.) She said she hasn't been able to find anything so far, and I was wondering if anyone knew where she could find some starcraft stuff to bring back. She said she could go anywhere as it's easily accessible via train!

I would greatly appreciate any help

Thanks,
Jugan

There really is no store, its only online for during special promotions. There's no where for her to walk in and walk out with pro-gaming stuff.

MBC - Non-Official merchandise at MBCGame Studio
KHAN - Non-Official merchandise available starting June
SKT - Non-Official merchandise available starting June
CJ - Non-Official merchandise available online
FOX - Non-Official not available
HITE - Non-Official not available
OZ - Non-Official not available
KTR - Non-Official not available
ACE - Non-Official not available
eSTRO - Non-Official not available
STX - Non-Official not available
WJS - Non-Official not available

That's what I know as far as things like hoodies, caps, badges, towels, etc goes. Official merchandise refers to team jackets, t-shirts, long sleeves, etc and those aren't available to the public even in Korea.

Nothing is currently available to non-Koreans (aka those without the ability to wire money from a Korean bank account to the websites of the Proteams. These sites also require Korean SS numbers to sign up aside from eSTRO and the English language sites of We Made and CJ.) - the MBC shop has been closed for months now.

I'm so tempted to say I'll sell her my stuff if she wants it, but there's a lot of sentimental value involved in the clothing I own.

Oh actually, I have a few doubles of things if you'd like them. They're mostly freebies so I don't mind giving them away. Lemme check the bag and get back to you in about 30 mins. I'm not even sure what's in there. I feel bad since people keep asking about this and there's just nothing available except the balloons at pl and stuff from finals.

If anything, I'd be interested (If I were in the OPs shoes anyhow) not in specifically pro-gamer swag, but just some of the starcraft-related things we don't see overseas. Stuff like Starcraft Doritos, Starcraft Kids shoes, etc etc.

Okay list includes;

Samsung Khan loud hailer. (only given out at their 2 PL finals.)
Lee Jaedong bandana (only given out at the last MSL finals.)
30 foot Club Day MSL Banner. (Tempted to keep this for myself...)
Some random balloons from finals (if I can find them.)
I *might* let the team diaries from 2008 or some signatures go, but I think I'd regret it. I have doubles of some signatures lying around (Stork/FBH/Ruby.) which can be given away too.

So, if you (or anyone else who is in Seoul right now.) wants to come pick it up (From Konkuk University St.) then I'll be around every day except Saturday. Sorry, but I'm not delivering to MSL finals since I have tonnes to carry already.

It doesn't offer anything any more. It's been closed for months. The online store is useless to anyone except Koreans or those with access to Korean people who can buy/ship for them.

Hahaha. Honestly, I just want more space in my room and I have extras so it's nice to give them to a good cause. You should have seen the massive crowd we drew at Dream Concert giving away my Kpop stuff. Rude people didn't say thank you though - out of about 50 fans I got about 5 thank yous. Whatever, more space and less clutter for me

Have you considered pawn shops? If you have too much stuff, you could try selling some of it to them.

I don't speak enough Korean and since most of it is Japanese stuff I don't think it'd go down too well tbh. I could sell my furniture, but the owners of it might be a bit pissed lol. I'm just going to ship it back to Mum slowly over the next few months - since she has two houses and all.

Sorry for bumping this, but I've got a couple of questions regarding sc merchandises. I am currently in Seoul, and are staying here for two more weeks (total of 4.... Should have thought of this a bit earlier now that I come to think of it). I've read your awesome thread about the requirements needed to purchase stuff over here as a foreigner NeverGG, so I am aware that i cannot get a hold of anything myself at the moment.

I've checked out some of the progamer sites, but since I don't speak korean, I can't seem to find any of the shops (as expected). However, my question is, do anyone know if any of the sites currently offer any products (wearable stuff like t-shirts and jackets/official team uniforms)? I am thinking of bringing back some stuff for personal use, as gifts for friends, and prizes for future sc2 tournaments

If anyone in here, living in Seoul, able to purchase and help me and my friends out, are willing to earn a couple of bucks, please send me a message Thnx.

No they do not sell official jackets, uniforms, etc in Korea because the companies believe there isn't a big enough market to make them. You can get some unofficial stuff like hoodies and hats from their sites but not a lot of that is available either.
