When I first started playing WoW, I was about 14, and for some reason I wanted to play a female character cause I thought I could trick people into giving me free stuff. So I called my human priest "Gooberlady" because I thought goober was a funny word. So when I made my undead mage (male), I didn't really want to keep Gooberlady. So I decided to make it more manly and change it to Goobus. Have been using it ever since.

I was originally 'Jok3r', but when the Dark Knight came out every 12 year old kid and their tamagotchi started using that name..

I saw Radiant on a pack of cleaning product, thought it was a pretty cool word. People called me rads when I was playing with them so I just shortened it to that and its stuck.

I had just bought SC2 and was anxiously making my way back home, and in those few minutes it takes to get to the game-shop from my place I was thinking of an I.D.

I was on the brink of deciding wether to go for Nikolaj (CoD4 nick) or Arnout (WoW nick) when suddenly a sign from the heavens came. Blocking the road for several minutes, there was this reaaaally pervish duck trying to charm not 1, not 2 but 3 female ducks at the same time.

Thus, the name Bangduck was born.

When i started with gaming, with Enemy Territory, i got very skilled after ~1 year playing it than i had met with 2 German Players wich are very known now in the et scene we played a lot of 3on3's. Coz there are soo much noobs and low skilled players who dont want to play vs. good teams, we decided to use fake nicks. I started with skillah it was very cool and i still like it

. Than i moved to Quake, but there was a QW player from netherlands wich is so fucking known in the quake scene and everyone asked me if im the "real" skillah so i changed it to skilley. But than i started to play 2on2's with my rl mate called "ollsen" and i changed it to skillseN.

When i joined TL last week (:D) i want to show my clan tag (coz im team manager for swedish top clan called Druidz) our tag in irc is DRz so it went out to DRzSkillseN.

Vxed is a reference to an area in Everquest, I like the sound of it and it's obscure enough for me to keep. Bonus for it sounding like a wordplay on vexed, which makes the real reference cooler when people get it.

I was somewhere between 10 and 12 and playing Runescape. My first few accounts were all those stupid ones with numbers stuck on the end and I lost them all because I forgot the numbers, so I decided to get a name that nobody else had. I found Acritter on my first try. It's been my name ever since.

I wanted to pick Attica but it seemed someone had taken that name before me, so I decided to just add an n to the end of it. Attica is a reference to an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (in my opinion probably the funniest/random-est show on tv). Hopefully any Sunny fans will know the episode I'm talking about and I'll leave it to everyone else to discover the awesome by themselves.

i was sitting in english class one day and we were learning some british english words and my teacher said "Frugality" and i thought that sounded pretty epic but it's meaning was pretty weird so i jus sat there and thought of my fav unit the Mutalisk soo it came to be Mutality

I dunno, I was 15 when I came up with "sylverfyre" - for use in edit: Pre-BW SC, not SC:BW. It just sounded cool to me at the time, and I've used it for everything ever since - most of my irl friends call me "syl" at this point.

I just like the metal/color silver, and combining that with fire (who doesn't like fire :D?) was a cool image in my mind.

When I was younger I wanted my WoW character to be named after the pokemon "Blastoise" which I misspelled "Blastoids." One of my guild leaders got drunk and said "shut the fuck up Stoids" a couple of times during the night, and the name stuck.

i wanted an original ID that no one has, that i could be recognised as, something that i created, and didnt copy or get inspiration from.

and i commonly use the word champion or champ to compliment others.

so i altered it to Champi to add an element of cuteness to the way it sounds, while at the same time sounding tough

Well, I usually go by the name of Braindamage, as it was already taken.... i added the AKA in the middle. I got this name from the guys i play games with, because i always come up with new strategies, whacky ideas etc.. they said you must have Braindamage that is a redicilous idea... but it could work... XD so here i am.
