You can't do gay shit very much (unlike fastest lol) Incidentally, does anyone else use the boxer moveset? I play left trigger melee And fastest takes some skill to be good at it too. But that doesn't mean it's not a bastardized version of the real game.

Would be true if you disregard the auto aim, bullet magnetism, and aim assist...
Half of me wants to agree with you, half of me wants to play against you to see if you can back that up.
You're right about the skill gap between pros and noobs being too small (blame Bungie), something along the lines of "Even a total scrub can out-slay Walshy" or whatever that quote was.

his guide was ok, but I frankly knew everything you said. I play as elite i know callouts i use bumper jumper i warm up the only thing i don't do is pick assault armor b/c i don't want to big of an advantage.

I really wish Halonerds would stop acting as if Halo is the best competitive FPS ever and its so incredibly in-depth. Play Counter-strike 1.6 for awhile and get back to me. THAT game has a skill-gap. + Show Spoiler +This being said, I think Halo3 is a very fun game and great way to spend some time. Its just not the end-all competitive fps.

I learned something from this guide even after having made an effort to learn Halo3 for myself. But the chances of me learning something from a BW thread are much smaller

Bumper jumper is awesome, it's like learning the game all over again.
Also, CS players being insecure about halo? Didn't see that coming at all!

My thoughts exactly.

Would Idra use a trackball mouse instead of an optical? Would Randy Johnson pitch with a softball?
If it's there, take it. Take with two hands. If your BR is more consistent on 2 sensitivity than it is on 3, why would you not switch? The list goes on.

That "decently realistic physics engine that requires you to lead your shots at range" you mention. Yeah, thats called network latency.

Even playing off xbox live you still need to lead your shots a tad.

and here come to the hardcore FPS panzies to the ruin the thread. Just stfu already.

But how can an FPS be fun without having played it for a decade with a clan and top level skills?

"I believe that if I would take all the hours I spent on shooters and put it into Starcraft, I'd be A+ rank ez mode. I'm not even joking, I spend a lot of time gaming"
I think I just died a little bit on the inside.

Attention Elitists
This is a topic about Halo 3, a console FPS. People have fun playing games other than starcraft/quake/CS. Believe it or not the game does require some practice and some skill. This topic happens to be about a specific game type and is designed to help people who are new to SWAT or to remind some of the vets of the key elements to the game type. This is not a place to swing your massive e-penis around because you happen to be good at an extremely competitive game.
