It's possible the letters provide the hash that determines the stats you get. Unfortunately the hash func is probably very randomized so similar letterings yield different results. | ||

At level 1, you can get ANY skill, weapon, or pet. Some are just alot rarer than others. And I haven't noticed any difference in male/female, nor the letters I was using. | ||
