Prices for Oxygen went up to x3 immediately. And by immediately i mean nto even 30minutes after the announcement, without a single miner being blown up yet. I reckon the directors already sold their huge stockpile of Oxygen and profited MASSIVELY from just the announcement. It is now 20 hours after the announcement and the price has somewhat settled down to x2 after the initial boom but is again going up slowly. So the question now is, will they be indeed ganking miners and create the bottleneck, or was this just a huge hoax for a quick x3 profit on their side, relying on the market making a false move? We will see what this week brings. i didnt have much in the way of liquid funding but right now im up about 80% of my previous cash

Mackinaw prices will most likely rise, as will the price of gallente starship engineering datacores used in the mackinaw/hulk bpc invention process.
However I do find it odd that goonswarm is pushing the 'were killing bots' issue so soon after the 'goonswarm doesnt report goonswarm bots' thing that was on the forums. Just seems a bit convienent to me.

Nope. Put in as much/little as you want to. You don't have to grind skills allday errday to be effective because skills continue to train while you're online/offline.

That being said, if all you do is log in to keep the queue active and never go on an op/ log in ask if anything's happening and then log back off, expect to get a lot less out of your life in hatchery than if you spend time online. But at least if you have to play only a few hours a week if you make the most of those you're still progressing in skill points as fast as people ship spinning. (And let us all pray it returns from SiSi asap!)

Ok so I've been thinking bout playing this for awhile, looks like lots of you guys are having fun with it. What kind of time commitment is involved? How much do you need to play per day/per week are you looking out. How much of is it is "mmo grinding" or is that not a big part of it.( I don't want to grind till Old Republic or Guild Wars 2 comes out )
Also I noticed team speak is required  , do you need a working mic, I need to sauter mine back together.

If you want to PLEX while on a low skilled account, you're not going to be getting the isk/hr some people in this thread throw around, but if you're not concerned with that there's basically no grinding involved unless you want there to be.
