I am in a amarr coercer with 2 medium afocal maser 1, 1 dual light beam laser 1, and a civilian gatling pulse laser(mission reward).
Now i did the first mission , and i like owned 2-3 ships really fast, but then one drone, i think "infester alvi" would not get hit by my medium and dual lasers, only the shitty civilian laser could hit it.
so it took me like 5 mins to kill this drone i think, any help?
if you're using long range guns and your target is small, very close and moving very fast, your turrets might not be able to track it. that would explain only the civilian laser hitting it, cause it has huge tracking. use short range guns or try to extend the range of the engagement.
short range guns are: autocannons, pulse lasers, blasters. long range guns are: artilleries, beam lasers, rails.
Anyone else' pumped about the Alliance Tourny starting up again this weekend?
It never fails to bring me back to the game, not exactly much like normal pvp (where's the 4hr station/gate camp? I mean thats basic people, jeez) but all the better for that :D

PvP really is about those 0.3 seconds when your overview goes red, when your point is just about to catch the little bugger, when the directional scanner pops up a trap, when your jump cloak is just about to drop. Playing tag with a crow in a nemesis (ickle torp ship) is one of the most exhilarating things I've ever done, him searching, trying to drop my cloak and me just needing to catch him once in a slow turn to drop enough firepower on his ass to kill a small moon.
but if your new to Eve or just want to see what it CAN be like watch a bit of the tourney or even just last years finals. They do a good job of covering the basics so you can 'get' some of it beyond the missiles and laser streaks and show you some 'aspirational' ships to aim for.
It also blows popular ships sales through the roof, if you can guess which ones quickly you can make an absolute fortune

They are pretty bad for solo ganking really. They are glass cannons to the extreme. They require a good amount of skills to use properly too, the biggest of which will be the missile skills and tech 2 torpedos.
The days are blurring together. I cannot remember what I spent all my isk on, although I'm sure it was something important. I have buy orders up in null-sec for random items and I bought a Stabber Fleet Issue for reasons that I cannot recall. My Dramiel is approaching pod agility. I have all of these skillbooks in my cargobay and I don't know how they got there. I bought a plex 15 days early. I THINK I AM GOING INSANE, IT'S ALL FALLING APART GUYS

If anyone is soon to buy a PLEX, I have a proposition for you.
If you set me up with a 21 day trail comming from your account, and give me either 300mil or a PLEX, I can then activate my account, which in turn will give you 30 days on your account for a referal that activated.
As such, we both get 30 days on our accounts, through the use of something you would of purchased anyways.
