As far as exploration goes, compared to 3k+ isk/lp in lvl 4 missions, ill agree that it isnt lucritive due to the risk/reward factor. However it is possible to make 100m an hour with a dedicated exploration t3 in lowsec on a good day where you can actually find the sites you want. It is actually quite reasonable to match and occassionally exceed 2k isk/lp rates through exploration even if you have to swap between a probing ship and a combat ship to run the sites.

Ofcourse when you put the time and effort into getting to 3k+ isk/lp then blitzing missions becomes the safest and most profitable pve activity in the game outside of wormholes.

We just caught a freighter in a wh but it logged out on us and we had to desperately try and kill it before it disappeared. It went in low structure so we're now playing a race against time with the wh entrance (on its last stage) and the logged out carrier.
