 Ive had my acc for over 2 years now with around 7-9 months actual playtime. Pretty much all my time was spent PvPing/Pirate. I flew with Monsters and racked up around 70 kills in 2 weeks for around 1.4 billion in damage and ended up only losing a drake and a shit ton of thrashers (hulkaggendon ^-^).. Currently cross training into min as I started caldari. Also, I can't go into hi-sec (-9.9sec Yarr!). IGN: BagelsBuns | ||

Right now I'm flying a Tristan and I want to upgrade. I started cross training to fly a rifter and also picked up destroyer skill. Looking at the destroyers I think im just going to skip them and go for a cruiser. I hear on the eve boards that railguns arnt so great and that your better going to projectile weapons so a minm ship. Is this just what a few people think or is this the normal for PvP? I was thinking of sticking Gallentte and getting up to a Thorax and maybe fitting it out for some long range sniping. What do you guys think about this plan? I dont mind cross training but if I can get away without doing it and get into a larger ship faster I would like to. | ||

The power of the Gallente, in my opinion, is their specialization in drones. Rather than cross training in an entirely new race, cross train in to drones. Your primary damage will be your little minions, and you can supplement that with railguns. Drones have the added advantage of also being able to make use of electronic warfare and propulsion jamming, and are fucking hard to get rid of unless you have smartbombs equipped (LOL). | ||
