I made the mistake of joining the TL's EVE corp during my time posting on TL and playing SC2, and looking back, it was one of the worst gaming experiences. I was in a frigate, flying with the TL corp, and there is literally an insane British guy yelling over TeamSpeak/Mumble/whatever it is, constantly. And there were many moments of awkwardness. Most of all, when he was yelling at me, I was annoyed that the other TL teammates didn't say anything, like it was normal behavior. It was real anger as well, not fun and jokes. To put a long story short: I fly supercaps now. I will never fly with TL, and I only came back to say "screw you" to whoever that asshole was. One of the worst gaming experiences in my life full-stop. To everybody else: there are way better corporations with chiller people and cooler things to do. | ||

It's been years since I played eve and I still remember him. It's not surprising that years later you're here, trapped by the memories, unable to move on, staying up at night posting on old gaming forums for games you don't play. Unable to leave it behind, haunted not just by the echoes of his British accent, but worse, by the silent betrayal of your brothers as they stood by and did nothing. Fortunately you were able to escape and find true and meaningful success in the purchase of a supercapital, something that marks you as an extraordinary individual. If it's any solace you can know that the darkest moment of your life is behind you and that you survived it. Moving forwards there is nothing you can't do. Meanwhile the Team Liquid corporation, wherever it may be, will never have the privilege of you, or your supercapital. | ||
