I can still see some of their jabber channels. It's really quite remarkable. People planning the recovery, the counter information coup where they take control of the narrative by posting what really happened on reddit which will fracture the allies and end their advances. It reminds me of Hitler in 1945 insisting over and over that the western allies would switch sides and Germany would lead them to a glorious victory over the USSR. Lots of plans, lots of ideas, none of them remotely connected to reality.

i am not sure how to think about it... several strong alliances in the game drain good fcs and motivated organizers from "pets"/"allies"/"content farms"...
goon did it with everyone in the cfc, pl did it with test and even with brave... it is normal
but what strikes me as different is that pl at least tried to be collegial, they might think you are shit but at least there is some level of "normality"

in the cfc context on the other hand there is always some pretty fucked up elitism towards supposed allies, "we are the bad guys, you are shit".. they drain every ounce of individuality and risky playstyle (that actually trains you to be good in battle, you have to have experience, you do not learn from helldunk and blueball (and 100 structure bash ops)) and then shit on them for getting drained, the whole mechanic is that of a scam for tears
i am not saying pl is not elitist... but they are at least on the front meritocratic and do not pretend to have status purely derived from being assholes....

i mean i saw some fcon dudes and they talked like normal people enjoying to play a game... but in the logs they get treated like shit from goons, useful idiots, marks for scams...

I haven't played the game in years, and have flown both with and against GSF, and I knew that was how the goons operated before I ever left low sec.

How is it surprising? GSF has never really made much of an effort to not shit on anyone that wasn't in the core body of players. Individually, they're all people, but taken as a group they've pretty much always been that way. Consider that one of the original goals of even coming into Eve was to break the hell out of the game (in theory).

Er, the pos isn't personally owned. The pos itself is red and will always be red now. He'll have to take it down. However any character that can unanchor the pos also can't dock in goon space, he'll need to be in the red corp to unanchor and the blue corp to dock. It's a fuck.

Yeah this is going to suck for him. In theory goons should let him leave the red char in to unanchor so he can take stuff with his now blue main, but in reality I hope he pulled them down before this happened.

Hey guys, thanks for the concern. Everything is working out okay currently. In order to manage a reaction farm you have to set them up with an Alt Corp you make just to manage your farm, so that corp stayed blue and all the towers. As far as me and my chars in DOKDO I dropped corp and was able to join D0KDO so that wasn't too bad of a transition. It pretty much killed the weekend though.

Right now I have 72 towers running still, they are making 1.5x of normal value (due to this war) so I have trouble taking them down even though they are going to burn very soon lol. I probably will take them down after another cycle or 2 *rolls dice*

Any suggestions for corps to join? I just finished all the tut missions and don't really know what I want to do. Probably mining/pvp. I hate exploration and pve so far.

I was looking at eve uni and pandemic horde but not sure if anyone has better ideas.
