One of our guys has far armor logi skills and that's why he wanted us to fly armor ships. I bought injector or two and got my drone skills to t2 level (exluding sentries.) We'll probably try low tier WH first with vexor tier shit and die few times for fun. Our goal is to set pos and get few bil, have fun and get new experience. | ||

If you want to PvP there are several routes to go - facwar space as you mentioned which bored the hell out of me (i was probably doing it wrong), sov null fleet pvp which is the most spectacular, yet somehow the most boring to participate in, and then solo/micro/small gang which is the least accessible but most satisfying - at least that's how i feel, but different people, different perspectives. For solo/small-gang a good place to start is the Eve Is Easy YouTube channel, especially his x-day guides that he made for the Kestrel, the Executioner, and the Rifter. Another good source is Chessur's YouTube channel - especially his video on Light Tackle if you're going to start out doing T1 frigates right away. | ||

Love those things. Also, if i want to be somewhat pvp focused, should i focus on a specific race? Currently i cant really decide between laser amarr and gallente with their drones. I went on a reading spree today lol. | ||

you can kite out sentries and forcing the enemy to deploy and rescoup several times is much more tedious than a reload cycle on a rapid light launcher for instance... usually you use drones complementary in screening off lighter ships, while you focus your main dps weapon system on the primary in solo pvp the tristan is one of the suggested go to ships for new players as it is accessible has good damage and projection with drones, it also teaches you the value of utility highslots like neuts/nos early on the prefered weaponsystems for fleets right now seem to be projectiles (large on machariels) or medium on hurricanes, this is partly flavour of the month and partly the alpha vs logi struggle in the game balance going on right now my suggestion is: find people that you want to fly with, learn what complements their fleets best and go for it.... in some fleets a good keres pilot feels like it has the value of 3 dps ships.... there are good videos explaining ewar roles, edit: obligatory chessur vid: and i particularly like lord-carlos videos (i think you will like his german accent): | ||

Since i started minmatar im probably going to relocate to somewhere closer to Rens for trading & ease of access. Going to take a few runs with ships stored in my wreathe though lol, i dont even know how good these ships are i might just bring the ventures  Still need to find a corp, was looking at pandemic horde but i still feel too noob to take the plunge hahaha. | ||
