I always assumed (and continue to do so) that estimated prices provided by the Eve client are inevitably horribly wrong. Is this still the case for the majority of items? | ||

Is this still the case for the majority of items? nope, the estimates are pretty good, except for very low volume (less than a couple dozend trades in jita a day), where it can deviate, but that is not a fault of the system, but of the capsuleers buying and selling, having no good understanding of the value themselfes the other issue that can happen are bubbles or fast switching market situations, since the estimate is a moving average it always trails behind, so it can't capture it accuratly when kwark buys 1000 genolution implants from the market to make the price rise artifically in a very short timeframe | ||
