So we're roaming around in t2 small stuff. We are Heretic, Worm, Keres and Hyena. Not even travelling together but scattered across systems scouting/searching. Nothing will fight us cause too scary. Find two Megathron Navy Issues, Tornado and Arbitrator (plus other random stuff are bashing an offline POS. Serg prepares a master plan to get cloaky warp ins on the Mega Navys and discuss scram tactics to prevent them MJDing away, meanwhile the rest of us eagerly leeroy in and rush to point anything and everything. Surprise surprise, the Mega Navys microjump drive out of point range and warp to station. However, the Tornado is max tackled and the Arbitrator is bravely continuing its work on shooting the POS. They explode soon after. + Show Spoiler [Round 1 Summary] + Heretic, Worm, Keres, Hyena vs. 2x Megathron Navy Issue, Tornado, Arbitrator, Crow and something else The 2 Mega Navys and other stuff escape, Tornado and Arbitrator destroyed. No losses sustained. High chances we scared them off so we start deciding our next destination. Someone notices them make a half assed scouting attempt to see what we have and with Michael on the way in his brave unaffiliated Merlin we leave local. Rengas and BBQ stay behind to point and observe their escalation, while Serg Fueron and I go reship. (Actually, I didn't care to reship and was more concerned about dropping off my loot  )They returned with Crow, Thrasher, Falcon to honourably 3v1 the Merlin of a little boy. Rengas and BBQ join in and they get rekt. But before the rektage is over a Pilgrim and Vexor Navy join in as well. A single Worm is not enough DPS to break through dual reps so I bring in my Ishtar to support the elite frigates. DPS is applied, with additional support standing by. As the final blows rain down on the Vexory Navy a Hound of theirs warps in, surveys the field as he lands, and immediately warps out immediately. + Show Spoiler [Round 2 Summary] + Merlin + Keres and Worm reinforcement + Ishtar reinforcement vs. Thrasher, Crow, Falcon + Pilgrim and Vexory Navy Issue reinforcement + Hound you're-too-late-reinforcement Merlin bravely tackles, Falcon fails to be good at game, all enemies die. Sustained loss of brave Merlin. Note that falcon is stabbed and we don't have scrams. Also sustained loss of someone who died to Waffles on their way home. I go AFK in local and when I come back the attackers have left. The lonely offline POS remains intact for another day. It will continue its journey of being completely abandoned and left to gather space dust in the cold reaches of Rakapas until it is eventually destroyed by a band of bored people seeking an easy killmail. | ||
