My loose intent at present is to fly the arby and build proficiency in its particular playstyle, perhaps do some probing > ganking in this style until I can fit in the T2 version. You're in the same position as me, I love playing as the god of a thousand tiny minions. I played a Necromancer in Diablo 2, Soviets in Red Alert 2 for the Cloning vats, ling heavy as Zerg, and went straight for drones in EVE. Although there are a few niche jobs drone boats are best at and the Ishtar is a good ship ATM, playing drone style in EVE will just give you flashbacks of trying to play a Summoning Necromancer in Hell difficulty. Do you know what I'm training at this moment? Light missiles. Do yourself a favor and start sooner rather than later. I am truly sorry. | ||

I had next to no skills with missile ships until a few months ago. I've basically trained nothing but missile ships/skills since then. It really is that good. | ||

You have already disregarded my advice. What you are intending to do in eve with the arbi hull, and armor tanking is difficult, and nearly impossible. The only way to drone in eve, is to use Ishtars / Domis. Arbi is a horrible ship and is outclassed in small gang and solo PvP by many ships. Arbi brings nothing to the table. If you feel that armor + drones on your arbi, is your preferred playstyle, then so be it. If you are not willing to believe multiple people, who are superior pilots to you giving you advice- then you feel that you don't need it. And if that is the case, it is not worth my time explaining anything to someone who already knows what playstyle they want. | ||
