Will cost me best part of 25b in plexes alone, before you even add the whole "not playing eve which sucks cause I like eve" thing. Body, can you offline the pos for me? Keep the fuel in system, we'll put it back on nearer the time unless someone else wishes to use pos + hardware and pay for fuel. I've had quite a few room mates over the years, especially when I went through college, and the idea that one of them needing to lock a room while not engaging in some sort of intimate affair, sounds foreign to me. Probably making meth in his bath tub.

Phoned up BT to ask when they could next install one as the engineer left, they said not until September, I called the engineer and said I'd break the door and replace it but he'd already reported the job cancelled and said he couldn't actually do it now because of paperwork. To make things worse there's a stupid pay as you go electricity meter in the house because the area is pretty slummy and it's in the same guy's room. About half an hour later the lights went out. Called the landlady but no reply, tomorrow I'm taking a hammer to the lock. On a bright note, Virgin reckon they can get me internet by Friday. We'll see.

#24575 A) The telecom tech is lazy and doesn't want to do work B) The actual only entrance point for lines are in the other room, and for some reason that's the only place that's wired....(What kind of place do you live in) C) The tech was a bit weirded out by Kwark in the fetal position on the common room floor whimpering "My isk, I need my isk" over and over and just needed to make an excuse to leave. Also, if I'm off-lining shit, I am packing it up and storing it in station, people will snipe it. Seriously though, call the roomie and badger him into letting you wire shit. http://themittani.com/

Most places don't have it but if in the past the occupier has had pay monthly/quarterly electricity and not paid then they're like "not gonna trust you again, you can have pay as you go and pay way more and fuck you bitch". You have this thing you take to convenience stores and top up and plug into the meter. I've not actually done it yet because the housemates previously handled it but he disappeared a week ago and I've not seen him since. :S I do have water and the water has pressure so I could create some kind of water powered dynamo plant thing from the upstairs bathroom down the stairs. This new house/roommate situation has been nothing but trouble.

Take a picture of the door to the room for me, and any lines that are run in the place, telecom outlets etc. God....since you have the technical knowledge of a pensioner, this will probably be painful for me.
