 . I was thinking that maybe it could be put in one of those free blogging services. Blog format works very well with day-to-day events, so it seems that writing a blog post for each day of the conflict (maybe skipping a week or three during the great camping of that one system, forget it's name) would provide a very good story. | ||

It opens with the Mittani, staring at his computer screen, hardly believing his luck. Then a short explanation of what he's so happy about, to get the reader involved, then a flashback to the history of BoB vs. Goons. Emphasize the broken sov mechanics that made the first invasion of Delve a failure, in order to show what a monumental event the loss of sov was. Then move into a simple narrative of the early battles, the titan loss, the subsequent PR- camp. Talk about AAA at this point, and their failure to stop Goons from taking over Delve over the course of the month-long camp. At this point, the main battlezone is 49-, and that chapter is still being written. Oh and ffs, uncensor the SA posts. | ||

How long does this total confusion with the game hold on? :p. I just installed it because i wondered and did not really get into it, but Eve seemed soooo complicated (not hard, just complicated) that i stopped playing after the first day and never got back... | ||

Well CCP did a revamp of tutorials etc. The New Player Experience has been rebuilt from the ground up with improved tutorials and an easier introduction to possible “career” paths. Rookie starship pilots will find it smoother than ever to become a force to be reckoned with in the limitless world of New Eden. The introduction of Epic Mission Arcs, huge branching mission sagas, are designed to give new pilots a tour across many regions of space and bring them out the other end, battle-hardened and knowledgeable about the EVE universe. ...it took only seconds for someone to point out that BoBR is "6o6p" in Cyrillic, which is the Russian word for "Beaver" ... And comments along the lines of "we've trimmed the beavers down already, now it's time for them to get stuffed" have appeared. Amazing. I love following this. | ||

...BoBR runs for it. Coalition holds the field. Early killboard estimates of the damage inflicted: 11.5+ Billion isk. Estimates of Coalition losses: 0.1 Billion isk. I feel I should point out that during the last five days or so, the Coalition has been "losing every battle" by suffering 2:1 or worse losses. But they were still "winning the war" by denying BoBR/AAA successful objectives while fulfilling their own. Tonight they took the objectives, lost barely a ship, and inflicted a 100:1 ratio of damages on their enemies. | ||

Yeah, this seems totally inaccurate. It was a stunning defeat for Kenzoku (they lost a dread and 7 carriers, and a battleship fleet late in the battle) but it wasn't 100:1.
