Look at it this way: there's only 2 weeks left until early access starts. And if you're in school like I am, final projects and exams will be eating up all of that time anyway ^_^

Ah nope I am lucky in terms of next thursday is my last day of school until January 17'th. Couldn't ask for a more perfect timing ^_^. I pray I get in early access 5 days but I doubt it since I just pre-ordered a few days ago.

You should have recieved a code as soon as you ordered it, so your retailer probably ran out, so I dont think you will get it.

I registered the code already (origin). But it doesn't say how early I will get in just I will get early access.

You receive a code, but that doesn't include the beta access. Early access hasn't begun yet, this weekend is just another closed beta test and it seems pre-ordering didn't increase your chances to get into the testing phase.

Talked to somebody from Gamestop and they told me I had to get my early access key from EA with a proof of purchase. It's not a big deal if I get early access.
But to more pressing matters. What classes can I heal as in this game? I want to try it this weekend in the beta.

On the Republic side, the Consular, Smuggler, and Trooper can heal (with the appropriate advanced class choice, of course). For the Empire, it's Inquisitor, Agent, and Bounty Hunter.

I'm still not sure wether to buy this or not. I think it will destroy my education, but with parental controls it will be alright.
I'm also really afraid that expansions will fuck up the Star Wars universe. Just think of WoW. The WC3 campaign story was cool, but after many expansions etc in WoW, the history is just messed up.
I'm also wondering if it will be strange when/if they have seasonal things in SWTOR, like christmas etc. I'm afraid it doesn't fit in the SW universe. (although SW definitely fits in our universe during christmas. I've seen the SW movies during christmas soooo many times)

There is no way to mess up the lore, since this timeline happens 20,000 years before the events in Star Wars movies, and most of the books are happening after and in between them.
Lore just continues on KOTOR 1 and 2 story and focuses on grander scale. When they need new bosses, they don't need any old lore since they can just invent a new Sith Lord gone bad, huge BAMF Monster came from sith, there is just no way to go wrong, and you don't have anything to ruin like in wow.

Didn't get invite for this weekend*sadface* however pre-ordering now grants only few days access before launch(unofficial rumours). Wonder if they have fixed getting stuck and other things.
I'm leaning much more towards the picking the game later really, Arkham City should satisfy my gaming needs during this month. Hopefully by the time I pick this game most nuisances are fixed as well.

I know, but will the history be as good with the new expansions/stuff that's coming out? I sure hope so. And after all, it's Bioware, so I'm sure it won't be bad.
