I'm sure it's fun to play "skillfully" or whatever but then you'd want your teammates to do the same, so it'd get frustrating pretty fast I think! It's an emulated game, might as well credit feed and enjoy the scenery and laugh at the bad translation.

Professor Jones and NKI both make appearances, and there's some nice play by Gian. + Show Spoiler + http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwYXPPfRjvM Gian vs. Tsuji at the beginning, then Professor Jones takes on the winner after watching some of those videos, I came to the conclusion that Dalsim is the CHEAPEST char is any video game.

I don't know, people usually have more issues even within ST (not to mention other fighting games or other games in general) with the other top tier characters rather than with Dhalsim. O. Sagat's got super ridiculous recovery Tiger Shots all day, Claw's got wall dive knockdown loop, and to a lesser extent of complaint Boxer's got those high-damage safe on block specials along with all the other tools. For the most part, some people have only a small issue with Dhalsim's yoga noogie bash throw loops (e.g. yoga noogie -> slide (or drill) -> repeat). Although the keepaway tools are really good, making him arguably the best non-Akuma character in the game, they're very difficult to use properly. Even if you have an idea of what you're doing, you can't just stick out limbs and win.

Is it possible to beat dhalsim with guile? lol there seems to be like nothing guile can do. Dhalsim short kick > jump in. Yoga flame > sonic boom. Long arms > guile. ![]()

Yoga flame > sonic boom. Long arms > guile. ![]() Yeah Guile vs. Dhalsim is one of the stupider matchups in the game, like a 2-8 matchup--very fundamentally difficult, but there's still opportunities to win. One of the big problems for Guile is that Dhalsim's c.mp hits under a Sonic Boom. I think that's getting changed in ST:HD. As for exactly how to win, I don't know because I'm not really that good at ST and I don't play either character. I guess you can look up vids of Kurahashi Guile. Muteki might be better, but he has a penchant for attempting to land crazy stuff. Also Tsunoppi, Batayan, Suzuyan, Yoshio for Guile players. I'm sure I'm leaving tons of obvious stuff out.

But yeah, Sim can get into some ranges where he really doesn't have to worry about Sonic Boom, sucks for Guile but that's just ST silly matchups for ya (Guile v. Vega is even dumber imo). Lots of really lopsided matchups all over the place.

Damn I'm sick of the same characters being rehashed over and over though, looks absolutely no different to any other KOF game.
