Steve just has an issue with playing little girls in a game, but as fighting games are all about which mechanics you prefer, who gives a damn? It's not a fucking RPG.
If Starcraft had only loli units you would still love the gameplay for what it is. So?

It has a reflector system which is a lot less lenient than parries. If you whiff a reflector, there's recovery frames. So if someone does an empty jump-in and you get spooked into reflecting, you're going to be eating a bnb or a throw. Reflectors can also be baited by meaty jump-ins, if you attack right before you're about to land and they reflect it, you can land and block their auto-counter OR you can reflect their reflector auto-counter. They can also cancel their reflector into another reflector though, so it's not as though this is an unbeatable tactic. Also, air reflectors have more recovery (and more punishability) than ground ones.

Neither of those characters are imbalanced. You just have to know how to play against them (projectile characters). Blitzkampf is actually pretty balanced, much more so than most other fighting games.
The thing Wei reflects midway through the first round is Anonym's resurrection super. She can only use it with 3 stock. Soldat is a charge character and basically what SF4 Guile should have been, whereas Akatsuki is the main character of the game and has pretty much every tool available to him. Sol can still win, though. Adler is fairly similiar to Soldat except he doesn't use charge moves.
The first fight in this video is between the only S-tier characters in Akatsuki Blitzkampf, Akatsuki and Marilyn Sue. They were toned down in the arcade version (Akatsuki Blitzkampf Ausf.Asche), which, btw, is now present at Arcade Infinity.

Don't worry, the V-13s and Rachels will take those Arakune bastards down. I have more respect towards aggressive arakunes than turtle ones though.
I think a couple Karls made it through a local qualifier, so let's hope one of them makes it out of their regional block. Also hoping for at least a Bang or two. I really want Buppa or Nise Pachi to make it, their Jin is sick. Ren is pretty good too and qualified as one of the Japanese Jins.
