so testie yelled at me when i solo'd luna because i was late on my items, so i let him solo mid while i laned btm with a VS in the one game i played yesterday, and had a killing spree in 3 minutes, along with a 23 minute bfly and was 15-1. He said he was sorry about telling me i was late on my items =P.

I was only kidding to an extent. But Luna solo-ing middle isn't the best of ideas. I have no problem with her soloing, and always solo when I am Luna. But if she is to solo, she should solo bottom where she has a lot more tower protection and can't be abused by a better soloer like viper, silencer, or nevermore etc. It also makes her, the carry, more accessible to ganks. Not to mention she shouldn't have a bottle so you're not giving your team nearly as much rune control. If you 1v1 heen or lonery in the middle with luna, they will probably be lvl 6 or 7 (quite possibly higher as we've seen in past matches) by the time you are lvl 5 and 6, (at the least.) They will abuse that 330 range like it's nobodies business and lucent beam and bouncing glaives won't come close to saving the soon to be tower hugging luna who is really out denied. The person who solos middle needs to be able to have rune control for so very many reasons.

I used to think she could solo mid too by simply having good control and not getting harrassed and really cherry picking your last hits. But a lot of important abuse can happen from lvl 1 to lvl 6 and a large gap that doesn't have to be there can be born. If the person in the middle is really good, she would actually level faster in a dual lane almost.

Shrug, wasn't yellin' at ya. But next time, solo her at the bottom so the team can have rune control. >:O

lol i usually solo luna at bottom with sent and top with scourge too but solo-ing luna at mid isn't that bad. unless you're talking about playing at the real top-tier level you shouldn't really be outleveld imho.

ever seen a melee solo mid vs a ranged? ever try a doom solo mid? it's not too bad because his base damage is so high you can lasthit everything. imo luna solo mid is just fine.

The point is there's far better options. And only a few melee heros can solo mid, terrorblade being one because he's just the best fucking shit ever who can take any lane and laugh in its face.
