normally i never ever berate people on dota, but yesterday I had to type, "potm(rpf) are you serious?" The scenario was, rpf/potm was soloing mid vs testie, me/void and strafe/spectre were at bot scourge vs atropos and centaur. I couldn't farm at all with lat/lane opponents so I went to middle. rpf comes back with an invisibility rune activated standing right behind testie/huskar who was on the scourge ramp. I start going 1v1 attacking testie and rpf just stands there until I was in red health then misses an arrow from about 300 aoe and I proceed to die.

I'm down on the list as "Active", and I am (lvl 25 on gg client w00t!), but whenever I look at my friend list everyone is splattered around in different Europe rooms. So I end up playing on Romanian rooms with my friends. I wanna play with you guys also. I'll add rpf strafe testie and zulu when I get back home and hope to play some games next week.

It's kinda funny that every starcraft turned dota player I've played with is a ricefarmer. There's this chinese toss I play with who we call 30 min single player mode player cuz every hero he plays he just disappears for 30 min then comes back with a heart a butterfly a buriza, etc.

Almost every moderately good player plays this way. It is -the- way to win against bad players. They can't beat you when you have good items. Good players won't let you do this, so you end up getting raped in those games because you don't have practice playing your hero in team situations early game without items. A good way to practice is to limit yourself to one decent item and a couple bracers and a bottle. That's about all you'll farm on 90% of heroes in a real game for 50 minutes.

No, it isn't. And yeah, people still hard carry sometimes... thats why I said 90% of the heroes.. Sure SF/TB/Spec/Void etc are supposed to item hoard all game.. but doing it with sven blah blah in most games is just not playing the best you can play.
