I've played HoN beta close to the first day it came out and as I remember scout was awful for a very long time. It's quite recently he got imba with his LOL 4 CRIT IN 1 SEC AFTER STEALTH U DIE NOW KKTHXBYE | ||

Anyway, after my first couple of attempts at solo ganking, I didn't even bother using Vanish for ganks. Instead I reserved it for teamfights, farming after I got runed axe, and taking out buildings. Aside from initiating with my ult and placing electric eyes, I felt pretty useless until lategame. I was just too fragile to do anything but farm (I suppose I coulda KS'd with my ult, but I'd rather be helpful). Also, for some reason "detonate" for electric eye has pretty long cooldown now... or it's buggy, take your pick. I'm not certain what it is (I didn't read the tooltip), I just know that sometimes I'd place an eye in a teamfight and detonate it right away, and other times I'd place an eye in a teamfight and spam the detonate hotkey only to see an error pop up about the cooldown still being active. 'Twas gay. You guys have any thoughts on the newly nerfed Scout? Imo, the nerf made him into a pretty weak hardcarry. He's still pretty strong 1v1 if his target doesn't move, but that's a pretty big if. He's weaker in teamfights since electric eye is less useful, and his ult was always a pretty shitty initiator and more used for KSing. I'm gonna miss solo ganking lone squishies, but at least I got to experience that once before this nerf. | ||
