Hey guys
I've been playing a lot of Diablo III: RoS lately and we still have a few very active players who wear the Liquid tag online. There have been a lot of changes since the game first came out and I wanted to put a notice out for anyone who was thinking about possibly revisiting the game.
Seasons have arrived in the Diablo world which means every few months there will be new gear to find and new ladders and leaderboards to climb. Season 3 should start around april 10th and will see some pretty cool new set pieces for all classes, as well as some modification on the existing sets. Seasons add a new dimension to the game that was pretty needed and seems to take away from the stale feeling the game once had.
Greater rifts are a new feature that has added not only a more competitive element to the game but also another reason to keep farming and grinding. New legendary gems can drop from Rift guardians in greater rifts which can be socketed into your jewelry to give you some pretty nice upgrades. Next season will also enable you to increase you blood shard cap depending on how many GR lvls you can complete.
If anyone is thinking about playing again or is unsure about what to do don't hesitate to add me or request to join the clan. Any applicants will be accepted and I'll personally help you along the way and even powerlevel/gear you up whenever I can. You can add me at NrGNeverexpo#1104 or request to join the clan "Liquid" on D3 and I'll make sure to accept you and help you out. I know many people think the game is dying but theres still quite a large player base and it would be nice if we could all consolidate under the same tag and get some games going. Hope to see more people come out
Shoutout to our fearless leader FConnectionUK who cannot be around to help out anymore cuz he's too badass. Cheers ladies and gents.

What happened to clan <TL>? Does this clan just replace the other one?

Both and have been around since the start of clans and we had more players than clan cap space would allow for just 1 clan. is the better one

k, I'll leave <TL> and join <Liquid> then! :D

I can always remove people who have been MIA for around a year to accommodate new entries. join up and ill accept when I can

I still play quite a bit as well. I'll jump back in the clan next time I'm on.
Glad to see you guys are back

we need more hardcore players that enjoy losing 50 hour characters to DC every season. :D
thanks for making the post neverexpo, it'd be nice to get some more active players!

I haven't played D3 since the first month it came out and since I discovered Path of Exile. I've always wondered if I should give it another shot, is there anyone who has played both games considerably and have some insight to how they compare now?

Off-topic, but holy shit dude, where you been neverexpo?

poe feels more clunky and less smooth than d3, and there's the desync. trading also becomes too much to manage when you get deep into the game and there doesn't seem to be a point in competing against standard server ultra-rich-guys. but other than that it is simply superior to d3.

I played both games on the highest possible level on Hardcore. Path of Exile is by far more fun becasue of its diversity, but since all the changes in D3, D3 is also quite enjoable
Also, I think that D3 is not balanced at all while POE is pretty much balanced.

d3 vs. poe comes down to individual preferences. play both and decide for yourself.
please don't let the thread devolve into a stupid game vs. game debate that haunts every d3 thread in the forum almost.

Sorry, I didn't mean to start a "which game is better" debate. Maybe a better question for me to ask is, "I have a lot of aRPG experience but haven't played D3 since the first month of its release 3 years ago. What is your favorite part of D3 now?"

I'm in TeamHC, ~460 paragon. is the liquid clan active? (EU)

wasn't trying to dump on any game either. just that if you value the stuff i listed poe is better. d3 is a fun and casual game, but they've added more competitive elements to it and playing hc is pretty challenging if you want to stay alive for a long time while also being efficient

D3 seems to get a decent amount of game changing updates to keep it fresh. If not game changing it at least takes away from the stale aspect you often encounter with these types of games. I didnt play PoE enough to know in depth how it worked but seasons keep things fun and leaderboard is always nice to try to climb.

Hey here's a question for you D3 guys - is there much you can't do on the console version that you CAN do on the PC version? Was considering picking up D3 for XBone (dreadfully short of worthy titles imo -.-) and I'm trying to decide if I should bother.

console version just doesnt have the same feel imo. Jus tthe look of it is messy and kinda cartoony in comparison, not so much the graphics but the gui etc. Also seems a lot harder to control yourself in that game, this is definitely a mouse game!
