I hit Gold 2 mostly from successful defenses after hitting a nice combination of people farming themselves down and others swarming my collectors and getting next to nothing to show for it. | ||

Simply by being TH7+ and using a proper base layout, defenses alone should keep you in that mid-Gold range. | ||

builder 1 -> xbows builder 2 ->,spell fact, lab (my lab was still upgrading pekkas to level 3 when I hit th9) builder 3-> level 1 defenses builder 4->archer queen upgrades builder 5->army camps then DE drill so now all the new defenses i built should reach their th9 max, army camps are maxed, barchers are level 6. i'm upgrading my clan castle, and that will be my last defense upgrade for the next few weeks. i'm gonna switch to maxing off my collectors, especially DE drill. not sure whether to get lvl 6 giants or lvl 6 balloons next. lvl 6 balloons will help in war, nothing like trolling lowbies by garissoning lvl 6 balloons in the lower bases for the lulz. I feel like I have completed "part 1". part 2 is upgrading all my defenses to th9 max. haven't really upgraded any walls since th8, and it may be a while since everything so pricey, and i'm always using all 5 builders. | ||

At that level it's good to do walls before defences to keep your MMR low and your attacking ability high for war 420 spartans is a 100% hardcore 3* only warring clan though recently i've been getting tired so i might take a break in a TL clan if there is one hah | ||

once you're in TLMS you're in 4lyfe we also adopt the 3-star-or-nothing mentality. we have many potatoes. if you join you'll prob be #1 or #2. we war back-to-back nonstop. we've been really active though, our wars are like 28/30 on 10-man and 42/45 on 15-man (haven't lost yet!) | ||
