never tried impossible :O expert difficulty is usually easy but wouldn't know about impossible

The difficulty is completely dependent on the map =[

If it's random and they give you super easy to get wood and ore mine then you are set

If not....sucks

I believe the difficulty level mostly determines the amount of resources you get at the start. From what I remember everything up to Medium gives you tens of thousands of each resource, Hard is thousands, and Impossible is only a couple thousand gold and zero of everything else.

yes i know what changing the difficulty does, hence "expert is _USUALLY_ easy (vs computer opponents)" because you have enough resources at the start to get somewhere, but it depends on the map/proximity of mines/strength of monsters guarding the mines.

Ye Impossible is only possible on a few maps, since you spawn with no resources what so ever you need to learn which heroes come with things such as one hero for the wizard race gives you +350 gold a day etc. its the only way impossible is possible.. also maximising the use of any range unit you can get your hand on and fighting as much as possible before the enemies get strong ( i guess you could call it creeping )

so hook me up with some details midian and ill play you.. or we can play like some 2v comp if thats possible? dunno not played it online.. only HOMM2
