Additionally, I think I'll open up recruitment for a third TL game, this time with the tricksy LA. Lemuria is banned, and R'lyeh is soft-banned (aka I'm discouraging it for a newbie game, for your own sake if anything, as I'll play LA Atlantis to kill you if you do  ). I'm tentatively playing LA Ulm, my old flame, as I need to test out how all the changes in Dom4 pan out for the nation. As with the TL2 game, I'll swap downwards if everyone is largely a newbie, as I suspect the new LA Ulm is (still) top tier. | ||

I just played like the tutorial/introduction and 8 or 10 games vs the ai, would really like to see how a game play out. Also, can anybody recommend any site/blog/articles with some beginners guide ? Most of the stuff that I find on forums seems that you really need to extensively know Dominions III, which I don't =/ | ||

As for luck scales, feel free to resend your pretender. :p There are two Dom3 LPs here: http://lparchive.org/Dominions-3/ which does cover the basics, though the Arco one is outdated as reverse communions were removed from the game (god riddance, tbh), and there are some clear functionality and UI changes which makes everything so much easier, as you'll notice. It does generally cover everything for Dom4, as you'll notice. There are also a few youtube LPs. | ||
