If we want to make the clan this weekend, we have the whole week to plan for it. People have been answering the thread and although the activity isn't crazy, it's not unsatisfying either. Making an account is very easy, you just need to log into the server (Azeroth) and make an account, no e-mail address is necessary. Once you've done that, give me your username on Azeroth and I'll add you to the OP. As far as the clan is concerned, I suppose a good default time would be Saturday or Sunday at say 2-3pm. I'll let people get back on the thread and give their opinion, and we can decide something.

I would marry TFT if I could. @3point14, roger that. If you could help making it, it'd be cool though. Rise up people! WC3 will prevail! Join me and together we shall rule Azeroth!

I talked to the guy who brought the franchise to Jordan , you dont have to be some big business man or something , just get a team of enthusiastic and serious people , WCG HQ will request your team to do a 1 year research on your county's gaming potentials , you thoughts on all the previous WCGs in detail , and how you plan to fund and grow the scene in your country , if WCG HQ sees it fit , you have a WCG in your country :D note : think of it like a master's program XD I played in WCG Jordan , Wc3 , lost in the round of 8 to a guy who made it to the finals but after that I got into organizing and judging the sc2 tournament , because we never had wc3 again WCG is our annual gaming highlight , RTS is very small here , but I like our community , but if you guys wanna see something REAL impressive , our fucking moba community is amazing ! and I love how WCG helped us achieve this.

People! do not let the thread die! I will track you all down if you do. I've been laddering more the past couple of days, it really doesn't take much to meet the players from the top 50. Anyone else been playing? We really need to make that clan, it'll be so much better! Let us be active! I believe in you!

Can't say I blame you for postponing the multiplayer, the campaign is indeed very cool. The lore is pretty badass in comparison to today's stories for SC2 or even WoW. WC3 was pretty much the setup for WoW and the story is therefore very important. Blizzard was able to keep the story decent until WotLK, but after that... I'm guessing you know the big events of the story, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. I am still waiting for all of you who so eagerly posted to give a time where we can make the clan! Your lives hang in the balance, I happen to be a WC3 obsessed version of Dexter (without the horrible ending and bad story choices).

I've been craving a good rts since i lost interest in playing sc2, is TFT still a good choice? There are about 30-50k players on BNet everyday, across all servers. I look for games at any time of the day and I usually find one within 2 minutes, 5 at the very most. I would say that, yes, the ladder is still active. Custom games are very much active and you really will find plenty of them, but that's another story. The main problem is there are a lot of hackers, it's a reality. A lot of maphackers and dischackers, and a few people who blatantly manipulate the ladder somehow to get insane stats (that's pretty much exclusive to Northrend though). I have played about 35 games so far, and I ran into 2-3 dischackers and I'd say about 3-5 maphackers. So it's not too terrible. Now, there are other communities. I have checked out w3arena, and it is legit. A lot of pro players play on it (HLA, Insomnia, etc) and the lag seems OK. There are no hackers and the ladder is pretty much identical to BNet's. The only problem is there aren't many players, but it is still in beta so it could grow, who knows. It is pretty great for Europeans though, but for people in North America lags can arise. I know it is laggy for me and I actually have less lag on Azeroth. In China, the game is pretty huge. There is a platform dedicated to china (play.yy.com) which handles WC3 amongst other games. There are about 25000 ranked players, and I couldn't tell you how many unranked, but probably a lot. Some Europeans do play on that server, but for most people the lag is pretty bad as it is a Chinese server. The best players in the world are on that server (TeD, TH000, InFi, Lucifer, even Moon sometimes). I keep telling ya! The resurrection of WC3 depends on us! Believe!

$20 is cheap for the greatest game of all time though! I've been watching recorded casts of famous games on YouTube (mostly from this user), it's pretty cool. It really does seem as though I'm not the only one being all nostalgic about WC3, which reassures me a lot!

This will be my first time playing it, but I will probably make it onto multiplayer eventually. Will post my name/tag or whatever it uses when I do here c: Great choice my man ! The Wc3 campaign is a MUST play , the storyline , the lore and game play itself is challenging and very fun , and I want to add that the fact that you get to play ALOT of levels as each race gives you great basic knowledge to enter the multiplayer. About multiplayer , I like the fact that people can still pick up the game and find players of their level to play with , some of my friends picked up the game a year ago , 1st time playing since ROC , they found beginners just like themselves (with the exception of a few smurfs and maphackers) , and gradually kept playing and got better at the game. The Wc3 ladder is doing very well considering it's a 10 year old game , try to enter the dawn of war retribution ladder (which is a 4-5 year old game) and its completely dead but going back to map hackers , SBK ( a popular Wc3 shout caster on youtube ) said that once you understand the game , maphackers become jokes , the fact that they hack makes them worst at the game , so if you meet one , dont be discouraged , just play your game , watch the replay and keep practicing , get better at it , and in no time you will rofl stomp those trashes with a bit if difficulty but eventually you will. and remember here in the TL community , we are ready to help you out ! If you dont want to jump on 1v1 ladder directly , feel free to add me , we can step up something on skype and play 2v2s. and since I already mentioned SBK (StoneBreakKid) , I always recommend his shout casts because he knows Wc3 inside and out , he provides great knowledge for players of all levels while doing his casts , and have some fun recapping the Wc3 e-sports history , check out old WCG videos on youtube * , find some classic INSANE replays , get to know the rich history of this game , and in no time Wc3 will be your favorite game * I personally recommend these from the classic WCG series : 1- 2005 grand finals , Sky vs Shortround 2- 2008 grand finals , Grubby vs Moon 3- this is more recent , but the 2012 grand finals , TeD vs Fly......OMG !!!!!

Its definately alot more fun on Hard ^^ I love the RoC and TFT campaigns because they are just so good!

A lot of the current top players are on it as I said earlier (Insomnia, HLA) and hence it is definitely legitimate and there is no scam going on. The servers they use are located in Germany, meaning it is not great for NA players. Which is why I don't play there, I lag. The huge bright side is that there are no hackers. The community is fairly small; but it's in beta, so there is a chance it'll grow. If you are from Europe I say give it a try, you'll probably enjoy a lag-free WC3.

dont forget there are thousands of singlepalyercampaigns created by fans online for example at hiveworkshop.com ! id recommend you watch some Wc3 skillmovies and youll be motivated to take on whole armys with one hero like the warden. for funny things about Wc3 watch Downwhere's videos on youtube. hes pretty funny and casts strange games and makes compilations of Wc3 bugs and clitches (like luring neutral lvl 10 dragons in your opponents base at the beginning of a game). for daily uploaded proreplays go to wcreplays.com . Im kinda really motivated to play again. I guess you want to play on azeroth right? tell me when you meet and Ill try to come too! by the way: is the Sc2 modding and mapping community as big as it was in Wc3? havent checked ot out so much
