More about the whole TeRRoR drama.. -->

"Hey everyone! First of all I would like to thank everyone for taking part in the Go2v2tournament. You surprised all of us with so many signed up teams, so thank you again. Congratulations to the finalists, Cooper&Caspend and Cash&Hawk. It was a long and fun tournament. Personally I had a blast watching Tod play with Sonik. It was really funny. Also big shout out to Reforged Poland crew for helping to organise this tournament, Gascan especially was a great help all the way. I want also to personally thank Xander for a huge help. He is one of the few people that was diligently involved in my case and actually spent some time talking with me about what happened and tried to understand the whole situation. He also came and said that he appreciates what I’m trying to do with hosting a tournament and agreed to help when I asked him for it. So thank you again Xander.

I want to use this moment also to give some of my thoughts about all the drama surrounding me. I feel really bad about what happened. There are people that say my apologies weren’t sincere or despite them write that I still believe in things I said during my hateful outburst. This is not true, I simply don’t believe the horrible BS I said. I always try to look at myself critically. It was bad a thing what I did, no doubt about it. I let anger and negative emotions take the best of me and did what I did. I felt guilty and wanted to repair that. That’s why instead of fighting this thing with senseless arguing or just words, I wanted to do something good and host this tournament for the community. There is a healthy amount of people that supported me, players and fans. For all those who talked with me, was understanding of the situation, and helped during hard times, thank you for all the support. It means a lot to me.

What future holds for me? It doesn’t look good if we talk about Warcraft 3. Some people have put a lot of work to ban me everywhere they could. Someone also influenced Netease admins to ban me from every Asian tournament. I was hoping to take part in WGL team league but neither can play it nor I can play the upcoming Gold league. My twitch account was recently banned due to the whole drama, which was the reason I could not cast any games from the GO2v2 Tournament (huge shout out to Chr1zZZTv and Badkiwi for taking the burden of casting in English on themselves – You guys did a great job !). There are very few tournaments that I can actually play right now and the only one I’m sure about is Polish league and future Tod invitational (since he banned me from the 1 upcoming tournament). I’m highly considering quitting the game at all. Time will tell.

As for the whole drama, people make mistakes, sometimes huge ones. I made such a mistake which I’m learning a lot from. I tried my best to repay for this mistake and with the good will of the guys who helped me, it was possible.

Huge thanks to all you guys who were and are here for me in troubled times. I’m sincerely thankful that you didn’t lose faith in me ! You’re the best. Together we did something good and constructive. Let’s hope for the best in the future. As I always say, GG guys and cya around."

okay, so banning him for 6 months in all B2W hosted tournaments and 1 fucking year in all russian hosted tournaments just wasnt enough, some fucking idiots had to ban his twitch channel too AND ban him in all netease hosted tournaments to add..

this is a fucking disgrace. What the heck is this? I mean he surely deserved a punishment for his excessive tilting on stream, 1 or 2 months ban at the most.. Not THIS! I thought WC3 community was better than that.

Absolutely disgusting.

Ah Terror. I remember the days when his brother was stream sniping in WC3L or some other pro-circuit (abandoning his own creeping mid-camp to rush and creepjack Lucifer creeping the red spot without any vision there was pretty obnoxious, and he kept creepjacking him all the time to the point where Lucifer just gave up).
Time is precious. Waste it wisely.

So this guy was a repeat offender of stream cheating in tournaments? Why is that punishment so harsh? He is hurting the game

I can't even imagine...If you can keep such thoughts in mind...
It is shameful to have something like that.
He deserves a more severe punishment.

Where did you get that he was a repeat offender of stream cheating in tournaments?

He was banned for a racist outburst on stream, which he made out of anger and not any real feelings of such, which he has repeatedly stated he regretted, was dumb, and has apologised for.

Unless there is more to this story I'm unaware of, this seems incredibly excessive.

And people here and other platforms I skimmed through are saying he deserves worse. Wtf? Is this community really this toxic? This is more akin to lynching than any form of justice.

It does seem excessive if that is indeed the case, granted I’m missing information on this to really comment either way.

The incident I mentioned happened years ago. Just wanted to point out that Terror has a history of getting himself into this kinds of situations.
Time is precious. Waste it wisely.

So this guy was a repeat offender of stream cheating in tournaments? Why is that punishment so harsh? He is hurting the game

He had a racial slur outburst and you wonder why twitch banned him? o.O
They ban for far less

And since his twitch is banned because he has the racist stamp on him (deserved or not, I don't know) it makes sense for tournament organizers to ban him as well

The ban isn't surprising. But 6-12 months from all tournaments and permanent ban on twitch? That's a career capital punishment, and it would be insane to even remotely entertain such a harsh punishment for anyone in any other sport. For reference, this is the same punishment that Blizzard initially gave Blitzchung (+ his price money), and that was a planned political outburst which they sought to punish with a figurative death sentence. The public backlash from the severity of that punishment should be known to everyone here.

And then people have the gall to whine that he deserves worse. Like I said, I was not aware that the W3 community was as toxic as I now perceive it to be.

Toxic community would be one standing up for racial slurs. Would it not?

It can be unfriendly based on this or perhaps make quick, snap judgements without nuance. Toxic, I think not.

100% agree with you.

Here is a post made by Gascan on reddit about this and other this type of situations, double standards, etc.
It is an interesting read. Would like to hear your opinion about it -->

Literally nobody is saying you should "stand up" to "racial slurs" or anything like that.

2 month ban would totally suffice, especially considering that TeRRoR was not doing anything terribly wrong up to this point, etc.. but the 6-12 months ban for basically everything is just disgustingly preposterous.

Take your straw man elsewhere please. No one has said anything remotely to the effect of what you just did.

This is in effect you stating that people are standing up to pick pockets because they don't approve of capital punishment for it.
