Gamesplanet has it for 30% off. Played around a bit, very miffed that they still didn't fix exploits and cheats. As one of the few people who enjoyed Hellgate: London, i do enjoy the PvE part. As a DayZ player, i WOULD enjoy the DZ part, if it were less frequented by exploiters, cheaters and other lowlifes.

Without demo's (open betas are just demo's really) people buy more games they would otherwise not have bought. Same with reviews embargo's until release day.

I'l probably buy the eventual "GOTY" edition from sales and co-op through most of the content till it gets boring.

Im getting this game cuz i like the PvE side of the game, you and 3 friends just beating content that way. Hoping this keeps me entertained for a good spread as i got the gold edition. I didn't play the PvP side in the beta as it seems you can only go into that as 1 player right, then you have to "meet up" with friends who can also kill u at any time right? xD

PC, i played it for about 2 hours after release then went to bed, so i missed the server outage. i played for an hour this morning before work, so no real server issues so far for me. i hardly think server issues at release is surprising.

The Division looks like a blast for groups but a pure chore for solo players.

I played the beta, and though you are right that it is a blast playing in groups, it is definitely a thrill to set up a group with random strangers never knowing if they will shoot you in the back at any moment in the DZ

I have not read anything to suggest that cheating is a thing right now, so i think you're good to go.

I'm kinda interested in playing it but from what I've seen so far it seems pretty run of the mill in almost every aspect. Plus there seems to be a lack of variety... Whenever I tuned into a stream/watched a VOD there were the same things going on. Running to a cover, kill a couple bullet-sponges repeat. At the end of the day, yes, the game can be summed up by 'run to cover, put a mag or two into a bullet sponge, repeat', but it the process just felt fun to me despite being indeed fairly monotonous. The fact that stuff has large amounts of hp brings a significant amount of strategy into the mix - suppression, crowd control and repositioning is far more 'visible' even to very mediocre shooter players and you can't expect to just run and gun stuff especially on harder difficulties. It's important to realize that it's not entirely a TPS game, it's more of a modern day Diablo set in third person perspective. Being able to aim is obviously important, but stuff like gear and ability builds and usage is what gives the game its flavor.
