Kobe, Wade, Harden, Ginobili, then who else? Gordon? If he ever stays healthy I guess. I think Iguodala and Joe Johnson are a tier below, not really All-Star caliber. Too early to call for Beal and Waiters. And Kobe, Ginobili and Wade are almost done. Even Harden was a PG who converted to SG for the Thunder.
and you'll never find another era with as many talented ones
multifaceted SGs are even rarer than dominant Centers in NBA history

You watch Isiah Thomas's "amazing" handles from the early 90s and it's awful compared to what Kyrie and CP3 do today.
I think this discussion is more like comparing the % of a current position who could be legitimate all-stars.

I think they also allow more in terms of carries and travels than they used to though

Ya, its the same as when we call Jordan the greatest ever, thought it doesn't necessarily mean he is better than LBJ. (not saying LBJ doesn't have a chance to overtake that title bc he is obv still playing)
And SG (or a perimeter player who plays this role) and dominant center pairings are some of the most effective according to NBA championship history. Or two dominant two-way perimeter players paired, but that is even rarer.
[loud-annoying voice: on] None of this PG/ball-handler and stretch-4 pick-and-roll crap that has been taking over the league. The Jazz couldn't do it back then, the Suns couldn't do it back then, the Heat couldn't do it till LBJ got a post game! Translation: Post games matter! Most important thing this means: D'antoni needs to get fired =P [loud-annoying voice:off]

Tony Allen fined $5k for his "flop" at the end of game 2. I believe he was legit flagrant fouled, at least in the scope of today's NBA, but his acting job was ridiculous and deserved some punishment.

Scott Foster is an asshole.
BTW, Foster was one of the other refs who was involved with Donaghy.

Refs have been out of control these playoffs.
