Edit: Let me pose this question, Blake Griffin or David West?
I'm sure you knew this was coming, but if you take those stats per 36 minutes, you get points of 21.3 for '10, 20.6 for '11, and 19.9 for this season. Rebounding is 11.5, 10.8, 9.2. His ORTG has gone up each year from 111 in '10, to 113, to 114. His TS% has gone up every year from .549, to .557, to.572. It all depends on what stats you want to follow.
That's all by the by, I merely meant that he's added different offensive moves, and didn't mean anything towards his stats, though I can see where it could have gotten confused.

Centers are rare. Like I was talking about earlier. If (caution made up stats) only 1% of the population has the athleticism for the NBA, and like .01% are 6'11" or taller... you get a small pool.
Just heard on ESPN Radio that Howard is adding 2 teams to his list of teams he's interested in for FA on top of the already known ones (Lakers, Rockets and Mavs):
Warriors and Hawks.
Howard to GSW is really intriguing. He wouldn't have to be "the man" there and would have Curry to take some of the load off of him.
The problem with Howard isn't that there's a lack of opportunities for him to have pressure taken off of him/not be "the man", it's that he believes he's "the man" and is somehow as offensively capable as Shaq or Yao.
Is Dwight seriously thinking about leaving LA? I'm sure he's considering his options and it's the right move not to explicitly say where he's going but I think chances are he's going to stay where he is right now. I read that he bought a house in Malibu and stuff and I'm pretty sure he loves life in LA as well. He's going to leave after shooting this shit?
That would be trolling like Derrick Rose and his Adidas commercials.

I think the C situation is probably the best it's been in 5+ years. I think Brook Lopez probably should've been the 3rd team guy, but you've also got Horford, Noah, Chandler (not so much this year), Vucevic, Hibbert, Sanders, Pekovic, Asik, kinda Cousins/Monroe.
Maybe not quite like having Hakeem, Ewing, Robinson, Shaq, Mourning, Mutumbo, etc. but I'm pretty sure most of those current guys could've made an All-Star team over Jamaal Magloire, Memo Okur, Brad Miller and Big Z.
Well we know he doesn't like D'antoni (who does?) and thinks he wasn't used correctly in that offense. If D'antoni is really coming back there are a lot of other teams that would make more sense from a basketball sense if he doesn't want to sit through another failed year and hope things change in the future.
In the end I think he'll stay for the money and to avoid another Orlando and for the lifestyle.
Curry should've been a lock for at least third team honours.
Not a knock on any of the guys on that list but a lot of them are making it through on reputation with little regard to their performance versus some guys that didn't make the list.
How does Dwight make it over Lopez? Even Noah? Howard, Lee and probably even Wade just aren't deserving this year IMO.
And Kobe on the 1st team is =\ I swear the people voting on this just lazily look at raw box score data and pick whoever tops the categories or just pick their favourite guys who had a great season five years ago.

I don't think our pool of centers currently is that bad (except for the lack of more than one elite offensive center). Its just that there has never been a plethora of elite centers, because of biology.

GSW is quite unlikely as he would have to go there in an S&T. They don't have the cap space to outright sign him.
It could actually be an intriguing deal for the Lakers as the Dubs have a good mix of expirings and young talent that could interest the Lakers (if they were serious about pursuing LBJ in 2014).
Like would you take say Bogut, Harrison Barnes, Jefferson (or Biedrens) expiring and 2014 first rounder in a S&T for Dwight (+ filler to match salaries)?
Personally I think the Dubs should have everyone but Curry on the table in pursuit of Dwight if he really did want to go there.
But then I'd have to support the Lakers. It would be the greatest internal conflict since Savior got done for match-fixing.
Maybe homer bias but i think Noah should be there over Lee easy. Howard is fine IMO, I've said it a hundred times but I think the media/fanbases are starting to underrate him lately. Wade shot over 50% and if you look at the number of good shooting guards in the league these days...there really aren't any at the elite level.
Meh, it's cyclical like a lot of positions. It's not the glory days where you had guys like Ewing, Hakeem, Shaq, Robinson, Mutumbo but it's not like the current crop of Cs are complete scrubs by comparison.
Think of how many great SFs there are in the league right now. Has the NBA ever had a period of better SFs? LBJ, Durant, George, Melo, Pierce, Deng, Gallo, Smith. Add Wiggins to that list in 2014/15.
Nor has it ever had as many good PGs or SGs. It's relative but people love to complain about how weak the current era is to prop up older players. The league is much better than it was 20+ years ago.

SGs? Kobe, Wade, Harden, Ginobili, then who else? Gordon? If he ever stays healthy I guess. I think Iguodala and Joe Johnson are a tier below, not really All-Star caliber. Too early to call for Beal and Waiters. And Kobe, Ginobili and Wade are almost done. Even Harden was a PG who converted to SG for the Thunder.

Yea, SG isn't that Deep.
Also PG is only "Deep" and "Strong" if you ignore the rule changes.
