Thanks for the replies about raiding and pvp. I pre-ordered the game whenever that became available so I guess I'll just play and pvp with some friends and forget about the raids. I would probably be bored raiding casually and there's no way I'm going back to hardcore raiding.

My friend actually got me to look into this game because he said the devs that made BW made this game So I looked into it and it seriously is an amazing MMO and the most offensive thing you can say about it is that its a WoW clone hehe Seriously though its a great game and its completely different as far as battles than WoW which makes healers a ton of fun to play as well as just the battles in general

This is a good preview of what the game is. They have a great youtube where they've explained most everything pretty well. You can judge the game solidly from them.

All of my friends gave up after facing tech issues on high end PCs, low framerate, input lag, freezing, crashes... I'll pass for now, might give it a try later

Apparently they've "fixed" nvidia issues, and are working with amd to get their drivers working too, but some amd rigs are still a bit wonky.

I think people just aren't used to beta's being beta's anymore, with how many AAA titles just release a finished demo and call it a "beta"
